CelcomDigi x Boost Bank 4% p.a. Promotional Interest Rate for CelcomDigi Jar Campaign


1. What is CelcomDigi x Boost Bank 4% p.a. promotional interest rate for CelcomDigi Jar campaign?

The campaign offers eligible users a promotional interest rate of 4% p.a. daily interest on end-of-day balances in one (1) special jar known as “CelcomDigi Jar”.

 

2. What is the campaign period?

8 August 2024 to 7 November 2024.

 

3. Who is eligible to earn the promotional interest rate?

To be eligible to earn the promotional interest rate, you will need to meet the following criteria:


1. New to Boost Bank

  • Register Boost Bank account via Boost app.
  • Spend min. RM20 on CelcomDigi postpaid or prepaid bills every month using the Boost app as your payment method.


2. Existing Boost Bank customer registered via Boost Bank app

  • Linked their Boost Bank account with their Boost app, and
  • Spend min. RM20 on CelcomDigi postpaid or prepaid bills every month using the Boost app as your payment method.

 

4.I have just created my Boost Bank account and deposited funds into it. When can I start earning interest?

You can start earning the 4% p.a. interest rate immediately if you are a CelcomDigi customer and have deposited funds into the CelcomDigi Jar.

 

5. How do I get the CelcomDigi Jar?

If you're already a Boost user paying your CelcomDigi bill via the Boost app, the CelcomDigi Jar will automatically appear on your special jars page when you log in to your Boost Bank account via the Boost app.

 

If you haven't paid a CelcomDigi bill via Boost yet, simply spend a minimum of RM20 on your CelcomDigi bill or prepaid top-up. This will automatically unlock the special CelcomDigi Jar for you on your special jars page.

 

6. Is there a minimum amount I need to deposit to enjoy the 4.0% p.a. interest rate?

You can start earning 4.0% p.a. interest with a deposit as low as RM1 in your CelcomDigi Jar. However, you must also spend at least RM20 at CelcomDigi using Boost as your payment method to qualify for the 4.0% p.a. interest rate.

 

7. I have successfully unlocked the CelcomDigi Jar. How long can I enjoy the promotional 4% p.a. daily interest rate?

After unlocking the special jar, you can enjoy the promotional rate during month 1 and month 2. To continue enjoying the rate in month 3, you will need to complete the transaction criteria in month 2. This applies to all subsequent months during the campaign period.

 

Illustration:

  • User A unlocks the special jar on 21 August 2024. They can enjoy the promotional rate on this jar until 30 September 2024.
  • User A spends RM50 on CelcomDigi bills on 15 September 2024. This allows User A to continue enjoying the promotional rate until 31 October 2024.
  • User A does not pay for any CelcomDigi bills in October 2024. As such, User A’s special jar will be deactivated on 1 November 2024. The funds within the special jar, including interest earned, will be returned to User A’s savings account.

 

8. What if I don’t meet the RM20 spending requirement at CelcomDigi in a month?

Your CelcomDigi Jar will be closed if you don’t spend RM20 at CelcomDigi bills with Boost in a month. Any funds and interest will be transferred to your main account.

 

9. I have fulfilled all the eligibility criteria, but I'm still not earning 4% p.a. daily interest on my special jar. What do I do?

10. When will the interest be credited to my Boost Bank account?

The interest will be credited to your Boost Bank account weekly, ie. every seven (7) days, from the day you open your Boost Bank account, savings jar(s) and/ or special jar(s).

 

Illustration:

On Day 1, you opened your Boost Bank account and deposited funds into your savings jar. On day 8, your interest earned will be credited to your savings jar.

 

11. What is the maximum capping for this promotional interest rate?

The maximum capping is RM50,000,000 on total eligible deposits on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

12. Is there any limit to the total interest that I can earn under this promotional interest rate?

Yes, there is a maximum individual cap of RM 50,000. This means that the promotional interest rate of 4% p.a. will only apply to the RM 50,000 saved in the special CelcomDigi Jar.

 

13. I previously deposited funds into the CelcomDigi Jar; however, it is now locked, and the Jar balance is RM0.00. Why is this happening?

To reactivate your CelcomDigi Jar, spend a minimum of RM20 on CelcomDigi bills using Boost. Deposit any amount into the jar to start earning 4% p.a. promotional interest rate once again.

 

14. If I pay my CelcomDigi bill for 3 months in 1 payment, does that mean my CelcomDigi Jar will remain unlocked for 3 months?

No, paying your CelcomDigi bill in advance for three months in one payment does not keep your CelcomDigi Jar unlocked for that duration. You need to pay a minimum of RM20 on your CelcomDigi bill via the Boost app every month to keep the jar unlocked.

 

15. What happens to my interest rate after the campaign period ends?

After the campaign period ends, your CelcomDigi Jar will automatically be closed, and your balance will be transferred to your Boost Bank savings account.

 

16. Will I be notified if my CelcomDigi Jar is closed?

Yes, you will receive a notification when your CelcomDigi Jar is closed, and the funds are transferred back to your Boost Bank savings account.

 

17. I already have the special MYDIN Jar. Can I still unlock the special CelcomDigi Jar?

Yes, you can have multiple special jars as long as you meet the eligibility criteria for each.

 


 

CelcomDigi x Boost Bank Prepaid and Postpaid Wallet Cashback Campaign

 

1. What is the CelcomDigi x Boost Bank RM 1.20 prepaid top up & RM 2.40 postpaid bill payment partner wallet campaign?

The campaign offers eligible users to use one of the two promo codes via the Boost app to redeem Partner Wallet ("Reward") from 8 August 2024 to 7 November 2024:


  • "CDPREPAID": Redeem one (1) RM 1.20 CelcomDigi prepaid top-up wallet. Limited to first 37,500 redemptions, on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • "CDPOSTPAID": Redeem one (1) RM 2.40 CelcomDigi postpaid bill payment wallet. Limited to first 18,750 redemptions, on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

2. What is the campaign period?

8 August 2024 to 7 November 2024.

 

3. Who is eligible to redeem the reward?

To be eligible to enjoy the reward, you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Linked their Boost Bank account with their Boost app, and
  • Spend min. RM20 on CelcomDigi postpaid or prepaid bills every month using the Boost app as your payment method.
  • Not have redeemed any other Boost Bank Partner Wallets, such as BOOSTMYDIN or BOOSTGETRAVEL.

 

4. How can I redeem the reward?

Just complete the following steps:

  1. Open your Boost app and navigate to Profile > Redemption Code
  2. Enter the promo code “CDPREPAID” or “CDPOSTPAID
  3. Upon successful redemption, you can view your "CelcomDigi Prepaid Wallet" or "CelcomDigi Postpaid Wallet" under "My Partner Wallets" on your Boost app homepage.

 

To utilize your reward:

  1. CelcomDigi Prepaid Wallet: Spend min. RM30 in a single transaction to top up Celcom XPAX or Digi prepaid via the Boost app.
  2. CelcomDigi Postpaid Wallet: Spend min. RM60 in a single transaction to pay Celcom or Digi bills via the Boost app.

 

5. When does the reward expire?

The reward must be used within 30 days from when you redeem it or until it is fully utilized, whichever comes first. 

 

6. I've signed up for a Boost Bank account via the Boost Bank app but encountered an error message when I tried to redeem the promo code on the Boost app. What should I do?

To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

  • Step 1: Please ensure you're using the latest app version (v7.2 and above for both iOS and Android)
  • Step 2: Link your Boost Bank account to the Boost app. Open your Boost app, tap on the 'Bank' icon, enter your BANK PIN, and log in to your Boost Bank dashboard. (Skip this step if you signed up for your Boost Bank account via Boost app)
  • Step 3: Retry redemption process. After successfully logging in to your Boost Bank dashboard, return to your Boost app home screencreen, go to Profile > Redemption Code, and retry the redemption process again. You should now be able to redeem it successfully.
