1. What are the key features of the Gadget SIM?

  • Internet-only SIM with 300GB Internet quota, suitable for heavy Internet usage
  • Easy and fast internet connectivity on Malaysia's fastest network, just plug and surf
  • Ideal for users with multiple gadgets, tablets and smart home appliances, or family members with multiple devices under one roof
  • Enabled for social apps and banking needs, including receiving TAC codes


Note: Make or receive calls / MMS, send SMS, Roaming, IDD, purchase internet top-up services are not available for Gadget SIM 98.


2. Who is eligible to sign-up for Gadget SIM?

Digi Postpaid subscribers on the latest Digi Postpaid plans with monthly commitment fee of RM60 and above (Digi Postpaid 60 plan and above) are eligible to sign-up for the Gadget SIM 98 lines.


If you are an existing subscriber on the older Digi Postpaid plans, you are required to perform a change of plan to the latest Digi Postpaid plans to sign up for the new Gadget SIM 98 plans. Each eligible Principal Postpaid line can sign-up for up to six (6) Digi Gadget SIM 98 (calculated in combination with other supplementary Digi Prepaid, Digi Mobile Broadband, Family Lines and other Digi Gadget SIMs under the same Principal line).


3. How much do I need to pay for the Gadget SIM 98?

Each Gadget SIM line costs RM50/month with Digi if you sign up during the campaign period. 

You will be required to pay an advance payment fee of RM98 during checkout, which will be refunded in your next bill.


Non-Malaysians, who sign up for Gadget SIM are required to pay a RM500 deposit per line at the point of registration. This deposit will be refunded after two complete billing cycle from the date of account termination. For example, a non-Malaysian subscriber with billing cycle on 21st of each month and terminated the postpaid line on 23rd February would only receive the refund of the deposit after 21st April.


4. Where can I sign up for the Gadget SIM 98?

Walk into your nearest Digi Store, Digi Store Express and Digi Dealers to sign-up for a Gadget SIM 98.


5. Are there any sign-up fees for Gadget SIM?

There will be RM15 one-time processing fee and SIM handling fee that will be charged to your first bill. For more information, please click here.


6. Are there any contracts for Gadget SIM 98?

By default, the Gadget SIM 98 does not come with any contracts. 


7. Can I use the Internet quota for hotspot?

Yes, the Internet quota can be use for your own line consumption and for hotspot.


8. Can my Gadget SIM 98 Internet enjoy the rollover Internet feature?

No, your Gadget SIM 98 Internet does not come with rollover Internet feature. Internet quota will be renewed at the start of the billing cycle.


9. Can existing Postpaid subscribers on other plans change plan to the Gadget SIM 98?

No, upgrade or downgrade from or to Gadget SIM 98 is not allowed.


10. Can I change plans from Gadget SIM 98 to another actively selling Digi Postpaid plan?

No, upgrade or downgrade from or to Gadget SIM 98 is not allowed.


11. What will happen to my Gadget SIM 98 if I terminate the principal plan?

Your Gadget SIM 98 which is a supplementary line will be terminated.
