1. Who is able to sign up for CelcomDigi WatchSIM?
- Customers that are on CelcomDigi Postpaid 5G 80 and above and customers that are on CelcomDigi ONE plan.
- CelcomDigi WatchSIM is currently only applicable for Apple Watch series. CelcomDigi WatchSIM will not be useable with Android Watches such as Samsung Galaxy Watch Series, Google Pixel Watch Series & Huawei Watch Series.
2. What are the devices supported by CelcomDigi WatchSIM?
CelcomDigi WatchSIM is supported by iPhone SE, 6s and later with iOS 13.3 or later. The iPhone will need to be paired with Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS+ Cellular) or later, with WatchOS 6.1. or later.
3. How much quota do I get with CelcomDigi WatchSIM?
Your WatchSIM unlimited call and Internet quota will be shared with your primary CelcomDigi postpaid plan. If your primary plan runs out of Internet quota, you will not be able to use data on your Apple Watch as well.
4. How do I sign up for WatchSIM?
You can sign up for WatchSIM by following the instructions below:
- Pair your Apple Watch to your iPhone. (Refer set up your Apple Watch for detailed instructions).
- Launch your Watch app on your iPhone and select ‘Mobile Data’. Click ‘Set Up Mobile Data’.
- Enter your NRIC number. Accept the Terms and Conditions and continue.
- Click ‘Done’ to complete the subscription. The ‘i’ icon should appear once subscription is completed.
5. Can I unsubscribe/ re-subscribe/ suspend my CelcomDigi WatchSIM?
Yes, you can. You will need to walk into a CelcomDigi Store/ Celcom bluecube/ Digi Store to unsubscribe or re-subscribe to a CelcomDigi WatchSIM service.
6. I am currently on Celcom NUMBERshare or Digi AirSIM with Apple Watch. What will happen to my subscription?
You can continue using the current NUMBERshare or AirSIM. However, if you choose to terminate or change watch, you will need to change your plan to CelcomDigi Postpaid 5G 80 and above or CelcomDigi ONE Plan and subscribe to the new WatchSIM.
7. I am currently on Celcom NUMBERshare or Digi AirSIM with Apple Watch. What will happen if I change my postpaid plan?
Your Celcom NUMBERshare or Digi AirSIM will be terminated before the change of plan. You will need to change your plan to CelcomDigi Postpaid 5G 80 and above or CelcomDigi ONE plan and subscribe to the new WatchSIM.
8. I am currently on Celcom NUMBERshare or Digi AirSIM with Apple Watch. What should I do if I want to change my iPhone or my Apple Watch attached to the service?
Change of watch and phone will require you to terminate your current Celcom NUMBERshare or Digi AirSIM service and subscribe to CelcomDigi WatchSIM.
If you would like to change your phone or Apple Watch attached to the service, please follow the steps below:
- Walk in to the nearest CelcomDigi Store/ Celcom bluecube/ Digi Store to terminate the Celcom NUMBERshare or Digi AirSIM.
- Change your plan to CelcomDigi Postpaid 5G 80 and above (can be skipped if you are already on an eligible plan). Any contract will be carried forward as long as new plan has the same monthly fee or higher. If you are downgrading your plan with a contract, a penalty will be incurred.
- Once the plan change is done, subscribe to CelcomDigi WatchSIM using the steps below:
- Pair your Apple Watch to your iPhone. (Refer set up your Apple Watch for detailed instructions)
- Launch your Watch app on your iPhone and select ‘Mobile Data’. Click ‘Set Up Mobile Data’
- Enter your NRIC number. Accept the Terms and Conditions and continue
- Click ‘Done’ to complete the subscription. The ‘i’ icon should appear once subscription is completed.
9. I am having a connection issue with my WatchSIM. What should I do?
