Registering an eSIM Line for Another User

1. How do I register an eSIM line for another user?
You can register an eSIM line for another user using the SPARK app. The eSIM will be installed and activated on the recipient’s device.
If you have homecoming family/friends during festive season and need flexible mobile connectivity that can be set up with ease, Spark is instant & fully digital. Here’s how you can do it:
- Open SPARK app
- Select “Activate a Line”
- Select “I’m buying this for others”
- Select your preferred plan
- Choose your preferred number
- Proceed with Payment to complete the registration.
- On SIM Activation Successful page, select “Other Device”
- eSIM QR code will be sent to your registered email address. You may share it with the intended user so they can follow the instructions to install & activate the eSIM on their device.
Important: Do not scan the QR code on your own device if the eSIM is meant for someone else. Each QR code can only be used once.
The intended user should activate the eSIM by scanning the QR code on their device:
- For iOS devices:
Settings → Mobile Data → Add eSIM (Scan QR code)
(Cellular Plan Label set to “Secondary” instead of “Travel” for non-travel usage) - For Android devices:
Settings → Connections → SIM Manager → Add eSIM (Scan QR code)
