FAQ: iPhone 17 Pre-Order


1. When can customers place a pre-order?

Pre-orders will be available from 12 September 2025, 8:00 PM until 18 September 2025, 11:59 PM through the CelcomDigi website, while stocks last.

 

2. What are the benefits of signing up during the pre-order period?

Customers can pre-order the iPhone 17 with a CelcomDigi Postpaid 5G 100 plan or higher.

Selected CelcomDigi plans include an exclusive pre-order bundle as detailed in the table below (while stocks last). CelcomDigi reserves the right to change the freebies at any time without prior notice.

3. Who is eligible to pre-order? 

  • Subscriber on existing CelcomDigi Postpaid 5G 100 plans and above - with no active contract and/or call bar or account restrictions. 
  • Non-CelcomDigi subscribers who wish to pre-order must first port-in to CelcomDigi Postpaid 5G 100 or above plans. 


4. Can customers with an existing contract opt for this plan?

No. Customers currently under contract are not eligible for this plan.


5. Is the device guaranteed when a customer places a pre-order?

Yes. The device is guaranteed upon full payment at the time of pre-order, based on the selected package price.

 

6. How to pre-order?

STEP 3: Make upfront payment (Subject to eligibility)


7. What payment methods are available for online pre-orders?

Payment can be made using a credit or debit card at the time of pre-order.


8. How will the pre-ordered device be delivered?

Devices will be shipped to customers via courier. Delivery dates may vary depending on courier practices, delivery location, shipping method, and items ordered. 


In-store pickup is also an option. When completing your pre-order online, choose “In-Store Pickup” as your delivery option and select your preferred store.


9. When will the customers receive the device?

Devices will be delivered starting from 19 September 2025.


10. Can I change my order details ie: delivery address, phone model,  storage device & color, tenure of contract, plan and roaming/PhoneCARE subscription after I submitted my order?

Changes are not allowed once the order has been submitted.


11. When I port-in, will I get the AirPods & AirTag when I do pre-order? 

Yes, while stocks last, and subject to the successful completion of your port-in. 


In-store pickup


12. How will I know when my order is ready?

You’ll receive a WhatsApp message from CelcomDigi’s official number 016-333 8888 with the subject "Ready for Pickup" once your device has arrived at the store. Please collect your order as soon as you can after receiving the message.

 

13. When can I pick up my order?

You can pick up your order from 19th September onwards. Please refer to WhatsApp and email notification for the actual pickup date and your preferred pickup location. 

 

14. In-store pickup - What do I need to bring when collecting my device?
Please bring along:

  1. Your NRIC/Passport (for verification)
  2. The confirmation Whatsapp message
  3. The payment card used (if applicable)


15. How long will the store hold my order?

Your iPhone will be reserved for 7 days from the date you receive the official WhatsApp notification: “Your Apple iPhone 17 is Ready for Pickup.”


16. What if I miss the pickup window?

We’ll send you a reminder before the 7 days are up. If it’s still not collected, your order will be cancelled and refunded to your original payment method.


17. Can someone else collect my order for me?

No, for your safety only the order owner can collect the iPhone. This ensures your device is handed over securely.


PhoneCARE


18. Who is eligible for the free 2-month PhoneCARE "Swap & Replace" plan?

Customers who purchase iPhone17 during the pre-order period (12 - 18 September 2025) and opt in for the PhoneCARE Swap & Replace Plan are eligible.


19. How do I sign up for the free 2-month PhoneCARE "Swap & Replace" plan?

When pre-ordering, select “Yes” under the PhoneCARE consent toggle, then choose the “Free 2-Month Swap & Replace” option.


20. I already have an existing PhoneCARE plan. Am I still eligible for the free 2-month PhoneCARE "Swap & Replace" plan? 

Yes! You're eligible and your existing PhoneCARE plan will be replaced with this new one. All you have to do is: 

  • Select "Yes" under the PhoneCARE consent toggle
  • Choose the "Free 2-Month Swap & Replace" option
Note: This offer is only valid during the pre-order period from 12 September 2025 to 18 September 2025.

 

21. Will I still need to make monthly payments for the PhoneCARE "Swap & Replace" plan?

Yes. Where applicable, the regular monthly subscription fee for PhoneCARE will still apply.

 

22. How will the free 2-month PhoneCARE rebate appear on my bill?

The rebate will appear as “Payment Via M-1” on your monthly bill, with each month’s rebate credited within 60 days.

 

23. What if I prefer the PhoneCARE "Swap" plan? 

You may choose the PhoneCARE Swap plan; however, it is not part of the free 2-month offer and will be charged at the usual rate upon receiving your new device.

 

24. When will my PhoneCARE plan be activated?

Your PhoneCARE plan will be activated within 6 days of receiving your new device.

  • If your device gets accidentally damaged during this period, don't worry – you're still eligible to make a claim on the SR Portal.
  • If you're switching from an existing PhoneCARE plan, the new plan will also take up to 6 days to activate after termination.


25. What will happen after the free 2-month PhoneCARE ends? 

Your PhoneCARE monthly subscription will be charged to bill from 3rd month onwards.  


PrivateSIM offer


26. What is the Private SIM Offer?

Customers who sign up for a Device Pre-Order with CelcomDigi are eligible to receive one (1) PrivateSIM with 24 months free subscription. For more information about PrivateSIM, click here.


27. How to redeem this offer?

Click here and follow the steps to complete your redemption.


28. Who is eligible for this offer?

Any customer who successfully completes a Device Pre-Order during the offer period and redeems the Private SIM by 31 October 2025.


29. How long is the PrivateSIM free?

You will enjoy 24 months free subscription. After that, the PrivateSIM will automatically be charged at the prevailing CelcomDigi rates unless you choose to terminate it.


30. Are there any fees involved?

Standard activation or registration fees (if any) will still apply at the time of activation.


31. When will the free period start?

The 24-month free subscription begins once the Private SIM is successfully activated. The rebate will be reflected from the next applicable billing cycle.

 

32. What if I don’t claim the PrivateSIM by the deadline? 

If the Private SIM is not redeemed by 31 October 2025, the entitlement will be forfeited.


33. What if I terminate my Postpaid plan early?

If your main Postpaid plan is terminated or migrated to an ineligible plan, the PrivateSIM Offer will be forfeited immediately.


34. Can I transfer this offer to someone else?

No. The PrivateSIM entitlement is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or other services.


35. Will PrivateSIM RM10 fee being charged during the pre-order? 

The PrivateSIM fee RM10 will not be charged upon activation during pre-order.


Port-in offer:


36. What is the Port-in Device Rebate Offer?

Customers who port-in to a CelcomDigi Postpaid plan during the eligible period will enjoy an additional RM20 monthly rebate on their Device contract for 24 months. This is on top of existing RM20 monthly rebate over 6 months for newly port-in customer.


37. Who is eligible for this offer?

Any new customer who successfully ports-in their mobile number to a CelcomDigi Postpaid plan between 3 September 2025 till 31 October 2025 and signs up with an eligible Device Pre-Order. Customers must complete their port-in before starting the pre-order journey.


38. How much rebate will I get?

You will receive RM20 per month for 24 consecutive months, which totals RM480 in rebates over the contract period.


39. When will the rebate start?

Your rebate will be processed within 14 working days after your port-in and device contract are successfully activated.


40. Why don’t I see the rebate on my bill yet?

If processing is completed after your current bill is generated, the rebate will only appear starting from the next billing cycle.


41. What happens if my port-in is unsuccessful?

If your port-in request is rejected, cancelled, or not completed within the offer period, you will not be entitled to the rebate.


42. What if I terminate my plan or contract early?

If your Postpaid plan or Device contract ends before the 24 months are completed, any remaining rebates will be forfeited.


43. Can I transfer the rebate to someone else?

No. The rebate is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or other services.


44. Do I need to do anything to redeem this rebate?

Yes. You must first complete your port-in to CelcomDigi within the offer period. Once your port-in is successful, you can proceed with the Device Pre-Order. The rebate will then be applied automatically from your next applicable billing cycle.


45. I want to port-in to CelcomDigi. Will I be eligible to pre-order? 
Yes, you are eligible. To qualify for the pre-order, your port-in must be completed by 18 September 2025, 11:59pm. For a normal port-in (without pre-order), the process must be completed by 31 October 2025.


JetSet Roam Pass


46. What is the JetSet Roam Pass?

The JetSet Roam Pass is an exclusive roaming pass available only to customers who pre-order the iPhone 17 during the official Pre-Order Campaign Period. It offers a one-time quota of 15GB high-speed Internet for use while travelling overseas.

48. When can I subscribe to this Pass?

The Pass is available exclusively during the iPhone 17 Pre-Order journey. You must select it at the point of Pre-Order; it will not be available later. Each customer is entitled to subscribe to only one (1) JetSet Roam Pass.


49. When is the Pass will be activated?

Once you selected the pass during the pre-order journey, it will be auto activated for you anytime from 1 October 2025 until 31 December 2025, 23:59 (MYT). Once activated, you will receive an SMS confirmation and your 15GB internet quota will be allocated immediately. 


50. How long is my Internet quota valid? 

Once activated, your 15GB Internet quota can be used throughout the Campaign period (1 October 2025 until 31 December 2025, 23:59 (MYT)) 


51. How do I check my balance and usage?

You can track and manage your usage via the Celcom Life App, MyDigi App, CelcomDigi App, or by dialing USSD *800#.

 

52. Does the Pass include calls and SMS?

No. Calls and SMS while roaming will be charged separately at the prevailing international roaming rates published on the CelcomDigi website.


Trade-In


53. What’s the trade-in offer for this pre-order period?

Customers who pre-order the iPhone 17 with selected CelcomDigi Postpaid plans and complete their transaction at the CelcomDigi Stores from 12 September 2025 to 31 October 2025 are eligible for up to RM200 in extra trade-in value (overtrade).


54. How do I qualify for the overtrade amount of RM200?

To enjoy this offer, you must sign up for one of these Postpaid plans: CelcomDigi Postpaid 5G 140, CelcomDigi Postpaid 5G 160, CelcomDigi One Pro, and CelcomDigi One Ultra, during the pre-order period from 12 September 2025 to 18 September 2025.


Want extra savings? You can also select the "Credit to Postpaid Bill" option in the CelcomDigi Trade-In app to get an additional RM100 on top of your trade-in value and overtrade amount.

Example: If your device is valued at RM1,000, you'll receive the overtrade amount of RM200 (provided you meet the above criteria). By choosing to credit it to your Postpaid bill, you’ll also get an extra RM100 – bringing your total trade-in value to RM1300.


55. How can I trade in my device?

Simply download the latest CelcomDigi Trade-In app, run the device health check, and get your estimated trade-in value instantly. Once you accept the value, just follow the in-app steps to complete your trade-in. Click here for the full guide.


56. I’ve received my trade-in amount, but not the extra RM200? When will I get it?

Don’t worry – the extra RM200 will be credited in the next billing cycle, within 60 days.
