1. What is Viu?

2. Where can I get Viu app?

You can download the Viu app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.


3. Which device is compatible with Viu?

Viu is compatible with smartphones, tablets, desktops, smart TVs, and selected streaming devices.

8. How do I subscribe to CelcomDigi StreamMORE Viu Bundle?

9. Will there be any notification upon successful activation of the bundle?

Yes, you will receive a welcome SMS upon successful subscription and a separate SMS on log in detail for Viu access. The SMS will be sent to the principal mobile number.


If you did not receive the SMS, you may still attempt to login to Viu application. If login failed, visit Help Centre.
 

10. I did not receive the OTP on my mobile phone to activate Viu. What should I do?

Kindly ensure that your mobile number is the same CelcomDigi mobile number used during subscription. The OTP will only be sent to that same CelcomDigi mobile number. For further assistance, visit Help Centre.

 

11. Upon successful activation of these bundles, how do I log in to Viu? 


On your desktop browser:

Step 1: Go to Viu and select ‘Subscribe Now’

Step 2: Enter your mobile number to login (the same number you used to purchase the subscription)

Step 3: Please agree to the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and Supplemental Privacy Policy for Malaysia by clicking the button below

Step 4: You will receive a 4-digit code through SMS; enter the 4-digit code onto the browser

Step 5: Enter your email address and verify it with the OTP sent to your email (this step may be skipped)

Step 6: If it’s your first time logging in to VI, fill in your registration details. Click on ‘Create account’

Step 7: Choose the content rating for your profile

Step 8: Select your preferred content language 

Step 9: Start streaming!

 

On your iOS/ Android mobile app:

Step 1: Download the Viu application 

Step 2: Please agree to the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and Supplemental Privacy Policy for Malaysia by clicking ‘Agree & Continue’

Step 3: Enter your mobile number to login (the same number you used to purchase the subscription)

Step 4: You will receive a 4-digit code through SMS; enter the 4-digit code onto the application 

Step 5: Enter your email address and verify it with the OTP sent to your email (this is a skippable step)

Step 6: If it’s your first time logging in to Viu, fill in your registration details. Click on ‘Create account’

Step 7: Choose the content rating for your profile

Step 8: Select your preferred content language 

Step 9: Start streaming!


On your living room devices:

Step 1: Open Viu app on your living room device

Step 2: Click on ‘Agree and Continue’.

Step 3: Enter your mobile number to log in

Step 4: Enter the OTP sent to your number

Step 5: You are now logged in to your living room device.

 

12. I subscribed to CelcomDigi Viu bundles. When will the bundle expires?  

The 10GB quota subscription will be valid until time of subscription on the 30th day of subscription. Any unused quota will be forfeited.


Viu’s access will be valid until 11:59 p.m. on the 30th day of subscription. Samples as shown below:

13. I subscribed StreamMORE Viu Add Ons. When will the bundle auto renew?

The 10GB quota subscription will renew at the same subscription on the 31st day of subscription. Please take note once this renewal happens, charging of the add ons will happen concurrently.

Viu’s access validity will renew following the charging of the add ons.

 

14. I subscribed StreamMORE Viu Add Ons. Can I cancel the subscription at anytime?

Yes, you can perform cancellation via Celcom Life/ MyDigi app (whichever is applicable). There will be no pro-ration of charges, with full charges imposed. Upon cancellation, quota and Viu’s access will last till end of current subscription validity.

15. I subscribed StreamMORE Viu Add Ons. Can I do multiple subscription on same add on?

No, multiple purchases and subscription of the CelcomDigi Viu Bundle pass is not allowed. 

 

16. I subscribed StreamMORE Viu Add Ons. What will happen if I terminate my postpaid line?

If you terminate your postpaid line, you will not be able to access Viu with immediate effect. There will be no pro-ration of charges, with full charges imposed.

  

17. I have an existing Viu direct billed subscription purchased via various payment channels (operator billing/ banking card). Can I still subscribe to CelcomDigi Viu bundle using the same mobile number?

Please take note, if both subscriptions are active, both will be charged concurrently. To avoid this, you will need to ensure the desired subscription remains active and perform cancellation on the other subscription.
 

18. Can I use my CelcomDigi Viu bundle subscription on other devices?

Yes, you can login on other compatible devices via the CelcomDigi mobile number used during subscription.

 

19. Can I use my StreamMORE Viu Add Ons quota while on roaming?

No. The quota is only applicable for domestic use only (within Malaysia).

 

20. Is StreamMORE Viu Add Ons charged based on 30 days cycle?

Yes, StreamMORE Viu Add Ons is charged based on 30 days cycle, and will auto- renew at subscription time on the 31st day of subscription. Please take note once this renewal happens, charging of the add ons will happen concurrently.


In the event that the current subscription and subsequent renewal falls into same postpaid billing cycle, both StreamMORE transaction will be billed in the same postpaid bill.


e.g. Subscriber initially purchased StreamMORE Viu on 28th July 2024, and subsequently auto renewed on 27 August 2024. In postpaid bill dated 28th August 2024, subscriber will see both transactions captured in the same bill.

 

21. My postpaid line is barred/ suspended. What will happen to my CelcomDigi Viu bundle? 

You will not be able to access/ utilize your CelcomDigi Viu bundle. 

 

22. My postpaid line is barred/ suspended. What will happen to my CelcomDigi Viu bundle that due for renewal? 

The StreamMORE Viu Add Ons will be automatically unsubscribed, and you will be required to resubscribe again to enjoy the service. 

 

23. Can I transfer my CelcomDigi Viu bundle benefit that I purchased from one mobile number to another mobile number?

No. The bundle access/ benefit is not transferrable to another mobile number.

 

24. I have initiated Viu account deletion. Can I revert the account deletion?

Unfortunately, no. You will need to resubscribe to the add ons.

 

25. I have further enquiry or issue with CelcomDigi Viu bundle subscription. Where can I get help?

26. What are the terms of my access to Viu?

By subscribing to Viu, in each case irrespective of whether you log in or complete the registration process for Viu, the customer (you) further agrees and confirm that he/ she has (you have) read, understood, accepted and agreed to be bound by the following terms and conditions:
