Google Play Store Cashback Campaign

1. What is this Google Play Store Cashback campaign about?

From 13 August 2024 until 12 October 2024, we are rewarding CelcomDigi, Celcom and Digi customers who spends RM5 or above on their first Google Play Store purchase with a RM2 cashback.

2. Who is eligible for the Google Play Store Cashback campaign?

This is available for selected* customers on any CelcomDigi subscription from 13 August 2024 to 12 October 2024.

*Selected customers are customers who have never purchased or subscribed to any services on Google Play Store, in the past 12 months and is up to the sole discretion of CelcomDigi Bhd.

3. How do I receive the RM2 cashback?

If you are a selected customer, you will receive an SMS or push-app notification notifying you about this campaign. Simply make a purchase or subscribe to any service on the Google Play Store with a value of RM5 or more in a single transaction and get credited RM2 to your account. For prepaid customers, the RM2 will be added to your balance. For postpaid customers, the RM2 will be deducted off your bill.

4. How do I make purchases on Google Play Store using CelcomDigi as a payment method?

Don’t worry, the process is free.

Step 1: Go to Google Play Store and click your profile in the top-right corner. Select 'Payment and subscriptions' and 'Payment methods'.

Step 2: In the 'Payment methods' page, select 'Add Celcom billing' or 'Add Digi billing' and 'Enable'. You now have Celcom or Digi as a payment method on your favourite app.

5. Where can I spend the RM2 cashback if I am a prepaid customer?

The RM2 is added on to your main balance. This can be used for any purpose such as for SMS, calls, purchasing game credits, etc.

6. Upon receiving my cashback, will my RM2 expire after the campaign period ends on 12 October 2024?

No, the expiry of RM2 will not follow the duration of the campaign period. For postpaid customers, the RM2 is automatically reflected in your bill. For prepaid customers, the RM2 will expire according to your prepaid expiry date.

7. Are there additional steps for me to receive the cashback? 

There are no additional steps. Simply spend RM5 or more on any app on the Google Play Store using CelcomDigi as the payment method and receive RM2 cashback automatically to your Celcom or Digi account.

Please be advised that you will only receive one cashback on your first transaction only, between 13 August to 12 October and is limited to the first 65,000 customers for Celcom and Digi respectively.
