How do I change my Wi-Fi SSID and password?
Modified on Fri, 23 Aug at 8:52 AM
Most CelcomDigi routers come with a label affixed to the body of the device either on the underside or back panel. This label usually contains the default login credentials, along with other information like the router’s IP address and serial number.
The router username and password are required to access your router settings or to change your network configuration.
To change your Wi-Fi credentials, follow the step-by-step instructions tailored to your specific router model. We recommend using LAN cable and laptop for this process.
For ZYXEL EX3300-TO router:
Step 1: Ensure your device is connected to the router via Wi-Fi or LAN cable
Step 2: Open a web browser on your device and enter ‘192.168.50.1’ in the address bar, then press ‘Enter’
Step 3: Enter the username and password as provided on the back of your router
Step 4: After logging in, navigate to the Wi-Fi settings and click on the arrow below the section
Step 5: Change the password for both 2.4G and 5G networks. Click ‘Save’ after making changes.
For TP-Link EX510 CelcomDigi router:
Step 1: Ensure your device is connected to the router via Wi-Fi or LAN cable
Step 2: Open a web browser on your device and enter ‘http://192.168.1.1’ in the address bar, and press ‘Enter’
Step 3: Log in with the following credentials:
- Username: customer
- Password: celcomdigi123
Step 4: Once logged in, access the Wi-Fi settings where you can change both the Wi-Fi username and password.
Please note that after changing your Wi-Fi credentials, all devices previously connected to your network will need to reconnect using the new details.
