1. What is Disney+ Hotstar?

Disney+ Hotstar is the dedicated streaming home for movies and shows from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and Star. Disney+ Hotstar offers an ever-growing selection of exclusive premieres of originals, including feature-length films, documentaries, live-action and animated series, and short-form content.

8. How do I subscribe to CelcomDigi Disney+ Hotstar Bundle?

StreamMORE Disney+ Hotstar Add Ons:

Disney+ Hotstar (Premium) on CelcomDigi ONE Ultra:

Customer will automatically enjoy this perk if:

  • The principal mobile plan is on any freedom add ons/ device contract or have an existing contracted CelcomDigi Fibre/ 5G Home WiFi under the same NRIC, and
  • CelcomDigi has an active partnership with Disney+ Hotstar.

 

9. Will there be any notification upon successful activation of these bundles?

StreamMORE Disney+ Hotstar Add Ons:

Yes, you will receive a SMS upon successful subscription and a separate SMS on log in detail for Disney+ Hotstar access. The SMS will be sent to the principal mobile number.


If you did not receive the SMS, you may still attempt to login to Disney+ Hotstar application. If login failed, visit our get help page at https://help.celcomdigi.com.


Disney+ Hotstar (Premium) on CelcomDigi ONE Ultra:

Yes, you will receive a SMS upon successful subscription and a separate SMS on log in detail for Disney+ Hotstar access. The SMS will be sent to the principal mobile number.


If you did not receive the SMS, you may still attempt to login to Disney+ Hotstar application. If login failed, visit our get help page at https://help.celcomdigi.com.


10. I did not receive the OTP on my mobile phone to activate Disney+ Hotstar. What should I do?

Kindly ensure that your mobile number is the same CelcomDigi mobile number used during subscription. The OTP will only be sent to that same CelcomDigi mobile number. For further assistance, visit our Help Centre.

 

11. Upon successful activation of these bundles, how do I log in to Disney+ Hotstar?

On your desktop browser:

Please follow the steps below to activate your Disney+ Hotstar account:

  1. Go to disneyplushotstar.com and select ‘Subscribe Now’.
  2. Enter your mobile number to login (the same number you used to purchase the subscription).
  3. Please agree to the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and Supplemental Privacy Policy for Malaysia by clicking the button below.
  4. You will receive a 4-digit code through SMS; enter the 4-digit code onto the browser.
  5. Enter your email address and verify it with the OTP sent to your email (this step may be skipped).
  6. If it’s your first time logging in to Disney+ Hotstar, fill in your registration details. Click on ‘Create account’.
  7. Choose the content rating for your profile.
  8. Select your preferred content language.
  9. Start streaming!

 

On your iOS / Android mobile app:

  1. Download the Disney+ Hotstar application.
  2. Please agree to the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and Supplemental Privacy Policy for  Malaysia by clicking ‘Agree & Continue’.
  3. Enter your mobile number to login (the same number you used to purchase the subscription).
  4. You will receive a 4-digit code through SMS; enter the 4-digit code onto the application.
  5. Enter your email address and verify it with the OTP sent to your email (this is a skippable step).
  6. If it’s your first time logging in to Disney+ Hotstar, fill in your registration details. Click on ‘Create account’.
  7. Choose the content rating for your profile.
  8. Select your preferred content language.
  9. Start streaming!

 

On your living room devices:

  1. Open Disney+ Hotstar app on your living room device.
  2. Click on ‘Agree and Continue’.
  3. Enter your mobile number to log in.
  4. Enter the OTP sent to your number.
  5. You are now logged in to your living room device.

 

12. I subscribed to CelcomDigi Disney+ Hotstar bundles. When will the bundle expires?  

StreamMORE Disney+ Hotstar Add Ons:

The 20GB quota subscription will be valid until 11:59 P.M. on the 30th day of subscription. Any unused quota will be forfeited.

 

Disney+ Hotstar’s access validity period will follow calendar month calculation, with expiry being the same day of following month, or last day of following month, whichever is earlier. Samples as shown below:

  • CelcomDigi has an active partnership with Disney+ Hotstar.

 

13. I subscribed StreamMORE Disney+ Hotstar Add Ons. When will the bundle auto renew?

The 20GB quota subscription will renew at 12:00 A.M. on the 31st day of subscription. Please take note once this renewal happens, charging of the add ons will happen concurrently.


Disney+ Hotstar’s access validity will renew in accordance to calendar month calculation (refer table in question 12). 

 

14. I subscribed StreamMORE Disney+ Hotstar Add Ons. Can I cancel the subscription at anytime?

Yes, you can perform cancellation via Celcom Life/ MyDigi app (whichever is applicable). There will be no pro-ration of charges, with full charges imposed. Upon cancellation, quota and Disney+ Hotstar’s access will last till end of current subscription validity.

  3. Open sub menu (3 dots) under Disney+ Hotstar Add Ons
  4. Click 'Turn off auto-renew'.

MyDigi app

 

  1. Login to MyDigi app
  2. Go to 'Settings' and click 'My Subscription'
  3. Toggle the Disney+ Hotstar Add Ons off.

 

 15. subscribed StreamMORE Disney+ Hotstar Add Ons. Can I do multiple subscription on same add on?

No, multiple purchases and subscription of the CelcomDigi Disney+ Hotstar bundle pass is not allowed. 


16. I subscribed StreamMORE Disney+ Hotstar Add Ons. What will happen if I terminate my postpaid line?

If you terminate your postpaid line, you will not be able to access Disney+ Hotstar with immediate effect. There will be no pro-ration of charges, with full charges imposed.

 

17. I subscribed StreamMORE Disney+ Hotstar (Basic) + 20GB (5G+4G). Can I subscribe to StreamMORE Disney+ Hotstar (Premium) + 20GB (5G+4G)?

Yes, you can subscribe to StreamMORE Disney+ Hotstar (Premium) + 20GB (5G+4G) via Celcom Life/ MyDigi app (whichever is applicable).

 

Upon successful subscription of StreamMORE Disney+ Hotstar (Premium) + 20GB (5G+4G), the initial subscription of StreamMORE Disney+ Hotstar (Basic) + 20GB (5G+4G) will be automatically upgraded to Disney+ Hotstar Premium immediately.

 

Please take note that there will be no pro-ration of charges, and full charges will be imposed on both subscription.

 

18. I subscribed StreamMORE Disney+ Hotstar (Premium) + 20GB (5G+4G). Can I subscribe to StreamMORE Disney+ Hotstar (Basic) + 20GB (5G+4G)? 

Yes, you can subscribe to StreamMORE CelcomDigi Disney+ Hotstar (Basic) + 20GB (5G+4G) via Celcom Life/ MyDigi app (whichever is applicable).

 

Upon successful subscription of StreamMORE Disney+ Hotstar (Basic) + 20GB (5G+4G), the initial subscription of StreamMORE Disney+ Hotstar (Premium) + 20GB (5G+4G) will be  automatically cancelled. You will continue to enjoy Disney+ Hotstar (Premium) access until end of your initial validity, and thereafter you access will be switched to Basic.

 

Please take note that there will be no pro-ration of charges, and full charges will be imposed on both subscription.

 

19. I am on CelcomDigi Postpaid 5G 80 plan and subscribed to StreamMORE Disney+ Hotstar Add Ons. What will happen if I upgrade my postpaid plan to CelcomDigi Postpaid 5G 160 plan?

Your current subscription of StreamMORE Disney+ Hotstar Add Ons will continue. 50% discount on StreamMORE Disney+ Hotstar Add Ons will only be applicable to any unbilled StreamMORE Disney+ Hotstar Add Ons charges.

 

20. I am on CelcomDigi Postpaid 5G 160 plan, and subscribed to StreamMORE Disney+ Hotstar Add Ons. What will happen if I downgrade my postpaid plan to CelcomDigi Postpaid 5G 80 plan?

Your current subscription of StreamMORE Disney+ Hotstar Add Ons will continue. 50% discount on StreamMORE Disney+ Hotstar Add Ons will not be applicable to any unbilled StreamMORE Disney+ Hotstar Add Ons charges.

 

21. I am on CelcomDigi Postpaid 5G 80 plan and subscribed to StreamMORE Disney+ Hotstar Add Ons. What will happen if I convert my postpaid plan to CelcomDigi ONE Ultra plan?

Your current subscription of StreamMORE Disney+ Hotstar Add Ons will be dropped, with full charges imposed. Quota & Disney+ Hotstar’s access will last till end of current subscription validity. You will subsequently be enjoying Disney+ Hotstar (Premium) on CelcomDigi ONE Ultra, upon fulfillment of following criteria:

  • The principal mobile plan is on any freedom add ons/ device contract or have an existing contracted CelcomDigi Fibre/ 5G Home WiFi under the same NRIC, and 
  • CelcomDigi has an active partnership with Disney+ Hotstar.


22. I am on CelcomDigi ONE Ultra plan, enjoying Disney+ Hotstar (Premium). What will happen if I downgrade my postpaid plan?

Your will no longer enjoy Disney+ Hotstar (Premium) with immediate effect.

 

23. I have an existing Disney+ Hotstar direct billed subscription purchased via various payment channels (operator billing/ banking card). Can I still subscribe to CelcomDigi Disney+ Hotstar Bundles using the same mobile number?

Please take note, if both subscriptions are active, both will be charged concurrently. To avoid this, you will need to ensure the desired subscription remains active and perform cancellation on the other subscription.

24. Can I use my CelcomDigi Disney+ Hotstar bundle subscription on other devices?

Yes, you can login on other compatible devices via the CelcomDigi mobile number used during subscription.


25. Can I use my StreamMORE Disney+ Hotstar Add Ons quota while on roaming?

No. The quota is only applicable for domestic use only (within Malaysia).


26. Is StreamMORE Disney+ Hotstar Add Ons charged based on 30 days cycle?

Yes, StreamMORE Disney+ Hotstar Add Ons is charged based on 30 days cycle, and will auto- renew at 12:00 A.M. on the 31st day of subscription.  Please take note once this renewal happens, charging of the add ons will happen concurrently. 

In the event that the current subscription & subsequent renewal falls into same postpaid billing cycle, both StreamMORE transaction will be billed in the same postpaid bill.

eg. Subscriber initially purchased StreamMORE Disney+ Hotstar (Basic) + 20GB (5G+4G) on 28 July 2024, and subsequently auto-renewed on 27 August 2024. In postpaid bill dated 28 August 2024, subscriber will see both transactions captured in the same bill.


27. My postpaid line is barred/ suspended. What will happen to my CelcomDigi Disney+ Hotstar bundle? 

You will not be able to access/ utilize your CelcomDigi Disney+ Hotstar bundle. 


28. Can I transfer my CelcomDigi Disney+ Hotstar bundle benefit that I purchased from one mobile number to another mobile number?

No. The bundle access/ benefit is not transferrable to another mobile number.


29. I have initiated Disney+ Hotstar account deletion. Can I revert the account deletion?

Reversal of account deletion is possible if request is raised within 7 days of account deletion. Please contact CelcomDigi Support Hotline.


30. I have further enquiry or issue with CelcomDigi Disney+ Hotstar bundle subscription. Where can I get help?

31. I am currently subscribed to CelcomDigi Disney+ Hotstar Bundle and I clicked on the ‘View Benefits' button in the Disney+ Hotstar app. What will happen if I complete the transaction via the ‘View Benefits’ button?

If you complete a transaction via the ‘View Benefits’ button on the Disney+ Hotstar app, this will be recognised as a direct purchase with Disney+ Hotstar. You will be charged concurrently with the CelcomDigi Disney+ Hotstar subscription.   


To avoid this, you will need to ensure the desired subscription remains active and perform cancellation on the other subscription. 


32. What are the terms of my access to Disney+ Hotstar? 

By subscribing to Disney+ Hotstar, in each case irrespective of whether you log in or complete the registration process for Disney+ Hotstar, the customer (you) further agree and confirm that he/ she has (you have) read, understood, accepted and agreed to be bound by the following terms and conditions:
