FAQ: Boost Device Voucher Programme

1. What is the Boost Top SPM Students Device Voucher Programme?

The Boost Top SPM Students Device Voucher Programme is a programme by Boost, in collaboration with the Majlis Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan (MAIWP), to reward eligible top SPM students in Kuala Lumpur, Labuan & Putrajaya with a digital voucher (partner wallet) for the purchase of a mobile device.

 

CelcomDigi is participating as an authorised retail redemption partner, where eligible students can redeem their digital voucher at participating CelcomDigi Store.

 

2. Who is eligible for the programme?

The programme is applicable to eligible top SPM students identified under the Boost Top SPM Students Device Voucher Programme. Eligibility and voucher issuance are determined by Boost and/or MAIWP.

 

3. How much is the voucher worth?

Each eligible student will receive a digital voucher worth RM1,000. The voucher is fully funded by MAIWP.

 

4. When is the programme available?

The programme runs from 10 September 2026 until 31 December 2026, unless otherwise determined by Boost and/or CelcomDigi.

 

5. Where can I redeem my voucher?

The voucher can only be redeemed at designated participating CelcomDigi Store below:

  • CelcomDigi Store Alamanda
  • CelcomDigi Store Labuan
  • CelcomDigi Store Taman Segar
  • CelcomDigi Store Setapak Central
  • CelcomDigi Store TTDI

 

6. How do I redeem my Boost digital voucher?

To redeem your voucher:

  • Visit a participating CelcomDigi Store
  • Present your applicable credit (RM1,000) from your Boost Partner Wallet.
  • Select a mobile device for outright purchase using the voucher.

 

7. What can I use the voucher to purchase?

The voucher is intended primarily for the purchase of a mobile device at participating CelcomDigi Store. Your first redemption must be for the purchase of a mobile device.

 

8. What happens if the mobile device costs more than RM1,000?

If the selected mobile device costs more than RM1,000, you will need to pay the remaining balance using the payment methods accepted by the participating CelcomDigi Store. Accepted payment methods may include cash, credit card and/or e-wallet.

 

9. What happens if the mobile device costs less than RM1,000?

If the selected mobile device costs less than RM1,000, any remaining voucher balance may be used to purchase accessories, subject to the voucher validity period and applicable programme terms.

 

10. Can I exchange the voucher for cash?

No. The voucher cannot be exchanged for cash or any cash equivalent.

 

11. Can I transfer my voucher to someone else?

No. The voucher is non-transferable and can only be used by the eligible student in accordance with the programme requirements.

 

12. How long is my voucher valid?

The voucher is valid until 31 December 2026. Any unused voucher balance remaining after the voucher expires will be forfeited and cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash.

 

13. What happens if I do not use my voucher before it expires?

Any unused voucher balance will be forfeited after the voucher expires. CelcomDigi will not be responsible for expired, unused or forfeited voucher balances resulting from the failure to redeem the voucher within the applicable validity period.

 

14. Can I choose any mobile device?

You may select from the mobile devices available at the participating CelcomDigi Store. However, availability of a particular device, model, colour, specification or stock is not guaranteed. You may need to select an alternative device if your preferred device is unavailable.

 

15. Can I use the voucher together with other payment methods?

Yes. If the selected mobile device costs more than RM1,000, you can pay the remaining balance using the payment methods accepted by the participating CelcomDigi Store.

 

16. Who pays for the RM1,000 voucher?

The voucher is fully funded by MAIWP. CelcomDigi does not provide any subsidy for the RM1,000 voucher value.

 

17. Can I use the voucher for something other than a mobile device?

The first redemption using the voucher must be for the purchase of a mobile device. If the mobile device purchased is below RM1,000, any remaining voucher balance may subsequently be used for accessories, subject to the applicable voucher validity period and programme terms.

 

18. What happens if there is a problem with my voucher or my eligibility?

Eligibility and voucher issuance are determined by Boost and/or MAIWP. CelcomDigi is not responsible for determining a customer's eligibility for the programme. The applicable Boost Programme terms and conditions will apply to the issuance, eligibility, validity and administration of the voucher.

 

19. Can CelcomDigi reject my voucher redemption?

CelcomDigi reserves the right to suspend or reject a voucher redemption where there is suspected fraud, misuse, abuse, system error or non-compliance with the applicable Terms and Conditions or programme terms.
