1. What is Viu?

2. What is Mega Add-Ons Viu Premium?
It’s a contract-based subscription to Viu Premium, offered at a lower monthly rate when you commit for a fixed period of 12 months. In addition to full access to Viu’s Premium content, each subscription also includes a bonus monthly quota of 5GB. For latest pricing details, visit the CelcomDigi website here.
Note: Early termination fees will apply if you cancel before the 12-month contract period ends.

Subscription, Activation, Usage & Termination:
5. How do I subscribe to Mega Add-Ons Viu Premium?

6. Will I receive a confirmation message after subscribing to Mega Add-Ons Viu Premium?
Yes, you will receive a welcome SMS upon successful subscription. This SMS will be sent to your principal mobile number and will include:
- Instructions to complete your Viu activation
- A separate SMS with your Viu login details
If you did not receive a welcome SMS, you may still attempt to login to Viu application. If login failed, visit WhatsApp.
7. I did not receive the OTP on my mobile phone to activate Mega Add-Ons Viu Premium. What should I do?
Kindly ensure you're using the same CelcomDigi mobile number used during subscription — the OTP will only be sent to that number. If you still need help, please contact us via WhatsApp.
8. Upon successful subscription, how do I log in to Viu?
To activate your subscription:
- CelcomDigi app: Go to My Plan > go to Lifestyle Subscription > Select your Viu subscription > tap on the link under the ‘Access via’ section.
Once you click on the link, you will land on the Viu App, where you will receive a message to follow the steps below:
On Desktop Browser:
- Go to the Viu website and click ‘Subscribe Now’
- Enter the mobile number you used to purchase the subscription
- Agree to the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Supplemental Privacy Policy for Malaysia by clicking the button below
- Enter the 4-digit OTP sent to your mobile number via SMS
- Enter your email address and verify it with the OTP sent to your email (this step may be skipped)
- If this is your first time logging in, fill in your registration details and click ‘Create Account’
- Choose your content rating & select your preferred content language
- You're all set - start streaming!
On iOS / Android Mobile App:
- Download and open the Viu app
- Tap ‘Agree & Continue’ to accept the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Supplemental Privacy Policy for Malaysia
- Enter the mobile number you used to purchase the subscription
- Enter the 4-digit OTP sent to your mobile number via SMS
- Enter your email address and verify it with the OTP sent to your email (optional step)
- If this is your first time logging in, fill in your registration details and tap ‘Create Account’
- Choose your content rating & select your preferred content language
- You're all set - start streaming!
On Living Room Devices (e.g., Smart TV):
- Launch the Viu app on your device
- Click ‘Agree and Continue’
- Enter your mobile number to log in
- Enter the OTP sent to your mobile number via SMS

9. I subscribed to Mega Add-Ons Viu Premium. How long is my subscription valid for?

10. Can I subscribe to the same Viu Premium multiple times on the same day?
No, you can only have one active Viu subscription at a time. To subscribe to StreamMORE Viu, you must first terminate your existing Mega Add-Ons Viu Premium subscription. If your subscription is still within the contract period, early termination fees will apply.
11. Can I use my Viu Premium subscription on other devices?
Yes, you can login on other compatible devices via the CelcomDigi mobile number used during subscription.
12. Can I use the bonus quota that comes with Mega Add-Ons Viu Premium while roaming?
No. The quota is applicable for domestic use only (within Malaysia).
13. Can I cancel my Mega Add-Ons Viu Premium subscription at any time?
Yes, but you’ll need to visit our Celcom BlueCube, Digi Store, or CelcomDigi Stores
to cancel. However, if you cancel before the 12-month contract ends:
- No pro-rated refund will be provided
- Your quota will stop immediately & you will no longer have access to it for the rest of the billing cycle
- Your Viu Premium access will be terminated immediately
- An early termination fee will apply, calculated as:
- Monthly subscription fee x Remaining contract months
14. What happens if I terminate my postpaid line?
If you terminate your postpaid line, you will no longer be able to access Viu with immediate effect. There will be no pro-ration of charges, with full charges imposed. An early termination fee will also apply based on the remaining contract period.
15. I have an existing Viu direct billing subscription purchased via various payment channels (operator billing/ banking card). Can I still subscribe to Mega Add-Ons Viu Premium using the same mobile number?
Yes, you can. However, please take note that if both subscriptions are active, both will be charged concurrently. To avoid this, you will need to ensure the desired subscription remains active and perform cancellation on the other subscription.
16. Is Mega Add-Ons Viu Premium also charged based on a 12-month contract cycle?
Yes, Mega Add-Ons Viu Premium is billed monthly (based on your monthly Postpaid billing cycle) over a 12-month contract period.
17. My postpaid line is barred/ suspended. What will happen to my Mega Add-Ons Viu Premium subscription?
You will not be able to access Mega Add-Ons Viu Premium benefits with immediate effect and penalty charges will apply.
18. Can I transfer my Mega Add-Ons Viu Premium benefit from one mobile number to another mobile number?
No. The access/ benefit is not transferrable to another mobile number.
19. I own multiple CelcomDigi mobile numbers. Can I update my Viu Premium login to a different number?
No, the access is not transferable to other mobile numbers. Customers may only login to Viu via the CelcomDigi mobile number used during subscription.
If you have a different CelcomDigi mobile number, you will need to perform a new Mega Add-Ons Viu Premium subscription using the new mobile number via the CelcomDigi app.
20. I am not a CelcomDigi customer. Can I transfer my existing Viu subscription to the Mega Add-Ons Viu Premium subscription?
To enjoy Mega Add-Ons Viu Premium you may port-in to a CelcomDigi Postpaid plan and cancel your existing subscription to avoid being charged twice. Once completed, you may subscribe and activate your Mega Add-Ons Viu Premium subscription according to the steps above.
