CelcomDigi Fibre Add-Ons: Free FTTR (1+1) Merdeka Offer

Eligibility:


1. Who is eligible to get Fibre-To-The-Room 1+1 plan for free?  

Existing CelcomDigi Fibre subscribers on the 500Mbps, 800Mbps, or 1Gbps plan are eligible to opt in for this exclusive offer. 

 

A total of 68 customers will be selected from the Register of Internet (ROI) submissions at the end of the campaign on a first-come, first-served basis.


Priority will be given to customers who meet the following criteria:

  • Subscribed to CelcomDigi 500Mbps, 800Mbps or 1Gbps plans
  • No active FTTR subscription

 

By signing up for this campaign, customers may be asked to provide a written or video testimonial after installation.

 

2. How long will this free FTTR 1+1 offer be available? 

This offer is available from 12th August till 2nd September 2025. Please note that after this date, the offer will no longer be valid and CelcomDigi reserves the right to suspend or end the offer at any time. 

 

3. What information do I need to submit in the Registration of Interest (ROI)?

You will need to provide your fibre service number, a mobile phone number where we can reach you on WhatsApp, and any other information requested in the ROI form to help us verify your eligibility. 

 

4. I’m interested in signing up for this campaign. How do I get this free FTTR 1+1 offer?

Step 3: If you are one of the 68 selected customers, our CelcomDigi Fibre team will reach out to confirm your details and schedule your installation date. Please note that cancellations may incur a penalty fee.

5. I have submitted the Registration of Interest (ROI). What happens next? 

Once we receive your ROI, our team will review and verify the information provided. If you are selected, our Fibre team will reach out to you via WhatsApp by 12th September 2025 to confirm your details and schedule your installation. 


6. I have submitted the Registration of Interest (ROI), but I haven’t  received any confirmation. What should I do? 

Please wait until 12th September 2025 for us to review your submission and get back to you. If you have not heard from us by then, it would mean that all 68 customers have been selected and your submission was unsuccessful.

 

7. Can I choose my own installation date and time? 

Our CelcomDigi Fibre team will do their best to schedule the installation at a time that is convenient for you, subject to availability. 

 

8. Is there any upfront payment required for this offer? 

No, there is no upfront payment required. This offer is completely free if you meet the eligibility criteria. However, please note that additional charges may apply for optional child add-ons, extra cabling or any services beyond the standard offer. 

 

9. What is included in the Free FTTR 1+1 setup?

10. How long is the installation time for CelcomDigi FTTR? 

Installation time for 1+1 package ranges between 2 to 3 hours, factoring in setup complexity, connection optimization, and WiFi device reconfiguration at your location.

 

11. What happens if I want to cancel CelcomDigi FTTR? 

If you wish to cancel your CelcomDigi FTTR, please liaise with our Fibre team through the WhatsApp number that you have been corresponding with. 

 

12. I am currently on CelcomDigi 2Gbps Fibre plan. Can I sign up for this offer? 

While we aim to offer higher speeds in the future, CelcomDigi FTTR devices are currently optimized for 1Gbps. Please stay tuned for future FTTR upgrades that will support higher speeds.

 

13. What will happen to my free FTTR devices if I change my CelcomDigi Fibre plan?

If you upgrade your CelcomDigi Fibre plan, your free FTTR devices will continue to work as expected, and the service will carry on without disruption.


14. Is there a warranty for the devices, and what should I do if they are faulty? 

Yes, there is a 24-month warranty, but please note that it does not cover customer negligence.

Within the warranty period: 
If your device or cable is found to be faulty, please contact our CelcomDigi Support team. Our team will assess the issue and guide you through the next steps. 
 
Outside the warranty period: 
If your device cable becomes faulty after the warranty has expired, repairs or replacement may incur additional charges. Our CelcomDigi Support team will provide a quote and options available at the time.


15. What will happen to my free FTTR devices if I decide to terminate my CelcomDigi Fibre service? 

If you decide to terminate your CelcomDigi Fibre service with Free FTTR 1+1 contract, you will incur a device penalty fee. The device penalty fee is calculated based on the number of months remaining in the 24-month contract and the remaining monthly value of the FTTR 1+1 add-on. 


The device FTTR penalty fee calculation is as follows: 

  • The number of months left in the 24-month contract. 
  • Multiply this number by the monthly value of the FTTR 1+1 add-on (RM1,920 divided by 24 months, which equals RM80 per month). 

For example, if you have 10 months remaining on your contract, the penalty fee would be: 

Number of Months Left × Monthly Value of FTTR 1+1=10×RM80=RM800
