FAQ: Google Play Store Cashback Campaign 2025

1. What is this Google Play Store Cashback campaign about? 

From 27 May 2025 until 27 June 2025, we are rewarding Celcom, Digi and CelcomDigi customers who spends RM10 or above on their first Google Play Store purchase, with a RM3 cashback.  


2. Who is eligible for Google Play Cashback Campaign? 

This is available for eligible and selected* customers on CelcomDigi subscription from 27 May 2025 to 27 June 2025.  

*Selected customers are customers who have never purchased or subscribed to any services on Google Play Store using the CelcomDigi Billing, in the past 12 months and is up to the sole discretion of CelcomDigi Bhd. 


3. How do I receive the RM3 cashback? 

If you are eligible, you will receive a WhatsApp or push-app notification notifying you about this campaign. Simply make a purchase or subscribe to any service on the Google Play Store with a value of RM10 or more in a single transaction and get credited RM3 to your account. 

*For prepaid customers, the RM3 will be added to your balance. For postpaid customers, the RM3 will be reflected in your next billing cycle.  


4. How do I make purchases on Google Play Store using CelcomDigi as a payment method? 

Don’t worry, the process is free.  


Go to Google Play Store and click your profile in the top-right corner. Select “Payment and subscriptions” and “Payment methods”.  

 

In the “Payment methods” page, select "Add Celcom billing” or “Add Digi billing” and “Enable”. You now have Celcom/Digi as a payment method on your favorite app.  


5. Where can I spend the RM3 amount if I am a prepaid customer? 

The RM3 is added on to your main balance. This can be used for any purpose such as SMS, calls, purchasing game credits, etc.  


6. Upon receiving my cashback, will my RM3 expire after the campaign period ends on 27 June 2025? 

No, the expiry of RM3 will not follow the duration of the campaign period. For postpaid customers, the RM3 is automatically reflected in your bill. For prepaid customers, the RM3 will expire according to your prepaid expiry date. 


7. Are there additional steps for me to receive the cashback?  

No, simply spend RM10 or more on any app on the Google Play Store using CelcomDigi as the payment method and receive RM3 cashback automatically to your Celcom or Digi account regardless of your subscription, tenure, etc. 


Please note that you are only eligible to receive the cashback once, based on your first transaction made between 27 May 2025 and 27 June 2025. This offer is limited to the first 15,000 customers each for Celcom and Digi.
