1. What is Viu?

2. What is StreamMORE Contract Viu? 

It’s a contract-based subscription to Viu Premium, offered at a lower monthly rate when you commit for a fixed period of 12 months. In addition to full access to Viu’s Premium content, each subscription also includes a bonus monthly quota of 5GB. For latest pricing details, visit the CelcomDigi website here.

5. How do I subscribe to StreamMORE Contract Viu?

Step 1: Login to MyDigi app

6. Will I receive a confirmation message after subscribing to StreamMORE Contract Viu?

Yes, you will receive a welcome SMS upon successful subscription. This SMS will be sent to your principal mobile number and will include:

  • Instructions to complete your Viu activation
  • A separate SMS with your Viu login details

 

If you did not receive a welcome SMS, you may still attempt to login to Viu application. If login failed, visit Help Centre.

 

7. I did not receive the OTP on my mobile phone to activate StreamMORE Contract Viu. What should I do?

Kindly ensure you're using the same CelcomDigi mobile number used during subscription — the OTP will only be sent to that number. If you still need help, please visit the CelcomDigi Help Centre.       

 

8/ Upon successful subscription, how do I log in to Viu?

To activate your subscription:

  • Celcom Life App: Go to Usage  à Local  à  Subscriptions  à  Click on “Activate” 
  • MyDigi App: Go to Settings  à  My Subscriptions  à  Digital Subscriptions  à  Click on “Activate”

 

Once you click on “Activate”, you will land on the Viu App, where you will receive a message to follow the steps below:


On Desktop Browser:

Step 1: Go to the Viu website and click ‘Subscribe Now’
Step 2: Enter the mobile number you used to purchase the subscription
Step 3: Agree to the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Supplemental Privacy Policy for Malaysia by clicking the button below
Step 4: Enter the 4-digit OTP sent to your mobile number via SMS
Step 5: Enter your email address and verify it with the OTP sent to your email (this step may be skipped)
Step 6: If this is your first time logging in, fill in your registration details and click ‘Create Account’
Step 7: Choose your content rating & select your preferred content language
Step 8: You're all set - start streaming!


On iOS / Android Mobile App:

Step 1: Download and open the Viu app
Step 2: Tap ‘Agree & Continue’ to accept the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Supplemental Privacy Policy for Malaysia
Step 3: Enter the mobile number you used to purchase the subscription
Step 4: Enter the 4-digit OTP sent to your mobile number via SMS
Step 5: Enter your email address and verify it with the OTP sent to your email (optional step)
Step 6: If this is your first time logging in, fill in your registration details and tap ‘Create Account’
Step 7: Choose your content rating & select your preferred content language
Step 8: You're all set - start streaming! 


On Living Room Devices (e.g., Smart TV):

Step 1: Launch the Viu app on your device
Step 2: Click ‘Agree and Continue’
Step 3: Enter your mobile number to log in
Step 4: Enter the OTP sent to your mobile number via SMS
Step 5: You're all set - start streaming!


9. I've subscribed to StreamMORE Contract Viu. How long is my subscription valid for?

The additional StreamMORE Contract Internet quota will be refreshed monthly, based on your Postpaid billing cycle date, and will continue throughout the 12-month contract period. 

 

Note: When this monthly quota refreshes, your subscription will be charged at the same time.

Viu Premium Access Validity

Viu Premium access is valid for 12 consecutive months from date of subscription. Access will expire on the same date the following year. Sample as shown below:

10. Can I subscribe to StreamMORE Contract Viu multiple times?

No, multiple subscriptions of StreamMORE Contract Viu service is not allowed while there is still an ongoing active subscription. 

 

However, if you purchase a different Viu subscription (i.e. subscribing to Viu with StreamMORE after subscribing to StreamMORE Contract Viu), the latest subscription will override the previous one. The earlier subscription will be terminated, and early termination fees will apply if it was still within the contract period. 

 

11. Can I use my CelcomDigi StreamMORE Contract Viu subscription on other devices? 

Yes, you can login on other compatible devices via the CelcomDigi mobile number used during subscription.

 

12. Can I use the bonus quota that comes with StreamMORE Contract Viu while on roaming? 

No. The quota is applicable for domestic use only (within Malaysia).

 

13. Can I cancel my StreamMORE Contract Viu subscription at any time?

Yes, but you’ll need to visit our CelcomDigi Store to cancel. However, if you cancel before the 12-month contract ends: 

  • No pro-rated refund will be provided
  • Your quota will stop immediately & you will no longer have access to it for the rest of the billing cycle
  • Your Viu Premium access will be terminated immediately
  • An early termination fee will apply, calculated as: 

      Monthly subscription fee x Remaining contract months

 

14. What happens if I terminate my postpaid line?

If you terminate your postpaid line, you will no longer be able to access Viu with immediate effect. There will be no pro-ration of charges, with full charges imposed. An early termination fee will also apply based on the remaining contract period. 

 

15. I have an existing Viu direct billing subscription purchased via various payment channels (operator billing/ banking card). Can I still subscribe to StreamMORE Contract Viu using the same mobile number?

Please take note, if both subscriptions are active, both will be charged concurrently. To avoid this, you will need to ensure the desired subscription remains active and perform cancellation on the other subscription directly with Viu.

 

16. Is StreamMORE Contract Viu also based on a 12-month contract cycle?

Yes, StreamMORE Contract Viu charges will be billed monthly over a 12-month contract period. The subscription fee is billed monthly over a 12-month period. 

 

17. My postpaid line is barred/ suspended. What will happen to my StreamMORE Contract Viu subscription? 

You will not be able to access StreamMORE Contract Viu with immediate effect. You will be required to resubscribe again to enjoy the service.  

 

18. Can I transfer my CelcomDigi StreamMORE Contract Viu benefit from one mobile number to another mobile number?

No. The access/ benefit is not transferrable to another mobile number.


19. I have initiated Viu account deletion. Can I undo the account deletion?

Unfortunately, no. You will need to resubscribe to StreamMORE Contract Viu.

 

20. I own multiple CelcomDigi mobile numbers. Can I update my StreamMORE Contract Viu login to a different number?

No, the access is not transferable to other mobile numbers. Customers may only login to Viu via the CelcomDigi mobile number used during subscription.

 

If you have a different CelcomDigi mobile number, you will need to perform a new StreamMORE Contract Viu subscription using the new mobile number via the Celcom Life app / MyDigi app.

 

21. I am not a CelcomDigi customer. Can I transfer my existing Viu subscription to the StreamMORE Contract Viu? 

To enjoy StreamMORE Contract Viu, you may port-in to a CelcomDigi Postpaid plan and cancel your existing subscription to avoid being charged twice. Once completed, you may subscribe and activate your StreamMORE Contract Viu subscription according to the steps above.

Viu is compatible with smartphones, tablets, desktops, smart TVs, and selected streaming devices.

  • Apple: iOS 14 – above (only available on iPhone and iPad for now)

PC/ Laptop

Hardware requirements for PC/laptop:
