Before Travelling
1. Purchase a Roaming Internet Pass that suits your needs
- Purchase your desired Roaming Internet Pass via the Celcom Life or MyDigi app.
- For Digi subscribers, you may purchase a Roaming Internet Pass up to 7 days in advance.
- For Celcom subscribers, we recommend purchasing your roaming pass before leaving the country.
2. Turn off voicemail to avoid charges
We encourage you to turn off voicemail before traveling to avoid any voicemail-related charges. Click here to learn how to turn off voicemail.
3. Ensure you have sufficient credit limit
Before travelling, please ensure that you have sufficient credit limit to avoid getting barred while travelling. We recommend checking your credit limit via the Celcom Life or MyDigi app.
You can request to increase your credit limit by submitting a request here. Please allow 24 hours for the new credit limit to take effect.
4. Be aware of roaming limitations in the country you are visiting
If you are not able to access the Internet or voice call services while you are roaming, it may be due to limitations placed by the country’s network or government’s restrictions. Please refer to below for exclusion areas:
