1. What does eKYC or account verification mean?
The account verification process, also known as eKYC (electronic Know-Your-Customer), is a quick and secure way to verify your identity online. In the CelcomDigi app, completing eKYC is important because it allows you to access all your sensitive account information safely.
2. What can I do on the CelcomDigi app if I have not completed my eKYC?
If your eKYC is not completed, you won’t be able to view sensitive or personal account information. However, you can still perform basic transactions, such as:
- Pay your bills
- Reload your prepaid credit
- Purchase add-ons
- Purchase vouchers
- Activate roaming passes
This means you can still manage your services, but access to certain account features will remain limited until eKYC is successfully completed.
3. What are the steps to complete eKYC process?
For Malaysian (MyKad):

Step 1: After you have selected your ID type, follow the instruction given and scan your MyKad. |
