FAQ: Insentif Rebat RAHMAH Hari Kebangsaan & Hari Malaysia 2026

1. What is Insentif Rebat RAHMAH?

In conjunction with Merdeka Day and Malaysia Day, CelcomDigi will be granting 5GB free data on 31st August and 16th September 2026.

2. What does the Insentif Rebat RAHMAH offer?

Insentif Rebat RAHMAH offers 5GB of free high-speed internet with a 24-hour validity period.

3. Who is eligible for the Insentif Rebat RAHMAH?

All Malaysian citizens with an active CelcomDigi prepaid or postpaid plan are eligible, including:

• All CelcomDigi, Celcom and Digi prepaid mobile voice plans, ToneWow and MBits, except foreigner plans.
• All CelcomDigi, Celcom and Digi postpaid mobile voice plans.
• All CelcomDigi, Celcom and Digi postpaid business voice plans.

4. Who is not eligible for the Insentif Rebat RAHMAH?

The following customers are not eligible:

• Prepaid: CelcomDigi Tourist SIM plans.
• Postpaid: Fibre, 5G Home WiFi, GadgetSIM, WatchSIM.

Customers who perform a new registration, change of plan, port-in or port-out on 31st August and 16th September are not eligible. Lines that are suspended, barred or expired on the respective campaign day are also not eligible.

5. How do I get the free 5GB Insentif Rebat RAHMAH?

• For prepaid customers, you need to ensure that your line is in active status.
• For postpaid customers, you need to ensure your line is in active status with no overdue bills.

Once you are connected to Celcom or Digi network and start using mobile internet between 5:00 am to 11:59 p.m. on the respective campaign day, the free 5GB data will be granted within the day. Once granted, you can enjoy the free data for 24 hours.

If the free data is not provisioned, please turn your Flight Mode on and off, then try using mobile internet again. 

6. When will I receive the free data?

The free data will be granted progressively from 5:00 a.m. on 31 August and 16 September 2026.

To receive the free data, your line must be in active status, connected to the Celcom or Digi network, and you must start using mobile internet between 5:00 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. on the respective campaign day. The free 5GB data will then be granted within the day.

7. If my status is active and on WiFi connection, will I receive the free 5GB?

To receive the free 5GB of data, you must disconnect from WiFi, connect to the Celcom or Digi network and start using mobile internet between 5:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. on the respective campaign day.

8. What can the free data be used for?

The free data can be used for local internet usage, including browsing, video streaming and music streaming.

9. Will I receive a notification when I receive the free 5GB?

No notification will be sent. You may check your free 5GB data balance via the usage dashboard on the CelcomDigi app or UMB, provided you are connected to the Celcom or Digi network and have started using mobile internet between 5:00 a.m. and 11:59 p.m.

10. Where can I check my free 5GB data usage?

You can track your free 5GB data usage on the CelcomDigi app usage dashboard or via UMB. For Celcom and Digi customers, quota balance will be shown by dialling:

• Prepaid: *118*2*5#
• Postpaid: *118*2*2*1#

11. I meet the eligibility criteria but have not received my 5GB free data. What should I do?

The 5GB free data will be granted progressively. If you have not received it yet:

• Refresh your CelcomDigi app and check your data balance again.
• If the app is loading slowly or you are unable to check your data balance, try again after a few minutes.
• Please turn your Flight Mode on and off, then try using mobile internet again. 
• Alternatively, you can check your data balance via UMB.
