FAQ: RM10 Trade-In Lock-In Fee

1. What does the RM10 Trade-In Lock-In Fee secure?
The fee secures the estimated trade-in value shown during your Trade-In journey from 1 September 2026 to 31 October 2026.

 

2. Will my trade-in value remain the same if my device has damages?

No. The Trade-In Lock-In Fee secures your estimated trade-in value, but your final trade-in value is subject to the condition of your device.

Your device will undergo diagnostics via the CelcomDigi Trade-In app and a physical assessment when you hand over your device at one of our CelcomDigi Stores or to a CompAsia rider. The final trade-in value may be adjusted based on the assessment.

 

3. How will the RM10 Trade-In Lock-In Fee be charged?

The fee will be charged in your next billing cycle, within 60 days.

 

4. When will my RM10 Trade-In Lock-In Fee be refunded?

Your fee will be refunded when you complete your Trade-In journey by handing over your eligible device at one of our CelcomDigi Stores or to a CompAsia rider by 31 October 2026.

Note: Simply submitting the Trade-In ROI Form does not count as completing the Trade-In journey.

 

5. What happens if I don't complete my Trade-In journey?

The RM10 Trade-In Lock-In Fee is non-refundable if you do not complete your Trade-In journey by 31 October 2026. This includes situations where:

  • You choose not to proceed with the Trade-In journey;
  • You do not hand over your eligible device by 31 October 2026; or
  • Your device is determined to be ineligible for Trade-In.

 

6. Can I cancel the RM10 Trade-In Lock-In Fee after submitting the Trade-In ROI Form?

No. Once you have submitted the Trade-In ROI Form and agreed to the applicable T&Cs, the RM10 Trade-In Lock-In Fee cannot be cancelled.
Please make sure you are ready to proceed with the Trade-In before submitting the form.
