MCMC - Notice on the General Consumer Code (GCC) Sub-Code on Opt-In Requirements

This is an important notice for CelcomDigi customers.

 

The General Consumer Code (GCC) Sub-Code on Opt-In Requirements was registered by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) on 25 May 2026 and has taken effect from the date of its registration.

 

The Sub-Code sets out industry requirements for service providers to obtain customers' clear and informed consent before activating or subscribing them to applicable products and services.
