1. What is the all new CelcomDigi Postpaid 5G PrivateSIM?

PrivateSIM is available as a CelcomDigi Postpaid supplementary eSIM plan, designed as a dedicated secondary line for privacy, ideal for banking OTP and digital activity.

It ensures your personal information remains private, effectively safeguarding against unintended exposure.


2. Who is eligible to sign up PrivateSIM?

Before signing up, please ensure you meet these eligibility requirements:

  • Malaysian citizen 
  • Aged 18 and above with a MyKad 
  • Principal line on CelcomDigi Postpaid 5G 80 or higher
  • Available slot from the 6 supplementary lines per principal line 
  • Device is compatible with eSIM 

 

3. How do I sign up for PrivateSIM?

You can sign-up PrivateSIM exclusively via CelcomDigi online store.
 

4. How much is the price for PrivateSIM?

PrivateSIM is a Postpaid supplementary line at RM10 per month. A one-month advance payment of RM10 is required upon sign-up.


5. What if I run out of data quota before the next billing cycle refresh?

PrivateSIM is a dedicated secondary line for privacy instead of for regular Internet browsing.

However, if more data quota is needed in an emergency, you can opt for data add-on at RM5 for 500MB (valid for 7 days).


6. I have an existing supplementary line, can I change my existing supplementary line plan to PrivateSIM?

No, PrivateSIM is only available for new supplementary line sign-ups. It is not available for plan changes and port-ins.

 

7. If I have already used all 6 supplementary lines under my CelcomDigi 5G Postpaid principal line, how can I sign up for PrivateSIM?

 You can sign up for an additional CelcomDigi Postpaid 5G 80 or higher principal line, which offers 6 more slots for supplementary lines. This will allow you to add a PrivateSIM.

 

8. How can I check if my device is compatible with PrivateSIM (eSIM)?

The PrivateSIM (eSIM) is compatible with all the latest iPhones and android devices. Please visit your phone manufacturer’s website to check compatibility.

 

9. How can I terminate PrivateSIM if I no longer need it?

If you wish to terminate a PrivateSIM, please visit a CelcomDigi store for assistance.
