How Online Task Scam works?

• Scammers reach out via messaging apps or social media, offering high pay for simple tasks like liking posts or clicking links to boost product visibility.
• To gain trust, they might pay you a small amount for your first task, making it seem like a legitimate way to earn money.
• To continue, they offer “high-return” tasks or bonuses but require you to deposit money upfront to enrol, promising full reimbursement after completion.
• When you try to withdraw your earnings, they demand high processing fees. Once you pay, they vanish—taking your money and leaving you empty-handed.

• Be cautious of ads promising high pay for little work, "work-from-home" jobs, or roles that "just need a smartphone". If it sounds too good to be true, it likely is.
• Any job that involves upfront expenses is likely a scam. Never pay to get paid.
• Legitimate job postings require skills, qualifications, or experience. Scams avoid these, making the roles seem open to everyone.
• Research the company’s background and reputation before accepting any offer. If it’s hard to verify, it’s a red flag.
