Add-Ons, Boosters, and Add-On Boosters

1. How do I purchase an Add-On and how long is it valid for?

First, you need to have a base data plan. Then, you can purchase any add-on from your dashboard on the Yoodo (by CelcomDigi) app. To keep it simple, your add-on will expire on the same date as your plan. To renew, just choose the same plan in the app, or go to the settings and select auto-renew.

 

2. How long does a plan/ add-on last before it expires?

Your basic plan (including your add-on) is valid for 30 days. At the period’s end, your plan is set to renew automatically, so you don’t need to buy the same plan repeatedly. To change these settings, just tap on your Settings button in the Yoodo (by CelcomDigi) app and toggle the auto-renew button to 'Off'.

 

3. What types of add-ons are available?

You can enjoy IDD, roaming and other content add-ons when you purchase your plan. Content add-ons include:

  • Facebook (20GB)
  • Instagram (20GB)
  • WhatsApp (20GB)
  • YouTube (20GB)
  • Telegram (20GB)
  • WeChat (20GB)
  • Signal (20GB)

4. If I buy an add-on for Facebook or YouTube, will I be able to track my usage for the add-on separately?

Yes, you will. After you've bought your add-on you'll see an additional donut-shaped meter on your dashboard that will display your Facebook or YouTube usage.

 

5. What's the difference between boosters and add-ons?

Our boosters are additional data/ voice/ SMS packets that you can choose to add to your plan, however and whenever you want to during your plan's 30-day period. They are active during your plan and do not extend the duration of your plan. Once your plan expires, they do not roll over to the next plan.


Add-ons are specific data buckets that let you get more out of Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. You can use these apps on a separate data cover that does not affect the main plan's data cover, unless you finish using it. 

 

6. Will the data/ voice/ SMS bought from boosters carry over?

Boosters will always be valid up to the end of your current billing cycle.

For example, if you renewed your plan on 9 July, your plan would expire 30 days later 8 August. Any Booster you purchased between 9 July to 8 August will all expire on 8 August.

We will also show a message when you are about to confirm your booster purchase that tells you when your booster will expire.

 

7. Can I do video chat and Instagram Live with my Instagram add-on?

Unfortunately, no. Our Instagram add-on does not cover video chat and Instagram Live. Any video chat or Instagram Live that is made will utilize your base data and not your Instagram add-on data.

 

8. What are add-on boosters?

Previously, add-ons can only be selected when you choose or build your plan. Once your plan has been confirmed and activated, you cannot add any additional add-ons.

Starting from 15th April 2021 onwards, you will be able to add any additional add-ons whenever you want to during your plan's 30-day period. You can use these apps on a separate data cover that does not affect the main plan's data cover unless you finish using them.


9. What are the add-on boosters available?

10. How do I select add-on boosters on my Yoodo (by CelcomDigi) app?

Go to the dashboard on your Yoodo (by CelcomDigi) app and select ‘Buy more’ at the ‘Your Usage’ section. Next, click on 'Add-Ons' and choose any add-ons that you want. The credits will be the default payment method in case your points are insufficient.

 

11. Will the add-on boosters carry over when my plan is renewed?

The add-on boosters will be valid up to the end of your current billing cycle. For example, if you renewed your plan on 9th March, your plan would expire 30 days later on 8th April. Any add-on boosters that you purchased between 9th March to 8th April will all expire on 8th April. We will also show a message when you are about to confirm your add-on booster purchase that tells you when it will expire.

 

12. Is there a limit to the number of add-ons that I can buy as a booster?

You can get what you want and thus, there isn’t a limit of add-ons that you can buy as boosters. You can select all the add-ons as boosters if you want!

 

13. What happens if I buy the same add-ons? Will they stack?

If you buy the same add-ons, they will stack. For example, if you have a 20GB Facebook add-on and you buy another 20GB Facebook add-on, it will be displayed as a 40GB Facebook add-on on your dashboard.

 

14. Why can’t I see the add-on booster on my app?

Please ensure that your app is updated to the latest version, add-on booster is available on our latest version of the app.
