Fake CelcomDigi Promotion on Free Bill Waiver

We have recently discovered that scammers have taken control of victims' WhatsApp accounts, posing as CelcomDigi sales representatives. These scammers are spreading a fraudulent promotion to the contacts of the affected victims. The scam involves a false offer of two months free billing with the scammers instructing potential victims to click on the deceptive link (https://getandfree2months.com/) and download an unknown APK file.

It is crucial to be aware that this promotion is entirely fabricated and the scammer's ultimate goal is to illegitimately obtain your personal information, OTP codes and banking credentials.

We strongly urge all our valued customers to exercise caution and remain vigilant in the face of potential impersonation attempts by individuals claiming to be our CelcomDigi agents. Please note that we will never initiate discussions about waiving monthly fees at length or request sensitive information such as OTP codes, banking details or IC numbers via unsolicited messages.
