FAQ: Borneo Rising

1. How can I cast more votes to vote for my favourite contestant?

a. Scan the QR code on the voting banner during the Borneo Rising show (show premiers every Sunday from 6 September – 25 October 2026 at 9pm- 10.30pm); or click on this link to place your votes for your favorite contestant every week on the ’Borneo Rising’ WhatsApp chatbot.

b. For CelcomDigi Prepaid subscribers, top up on the CelcomDigi app to receive a unique link that will grant you more votes as shown in the table below. 

• If you are not a Prepaid subscriber, you can purchase a CelcomDigi Prepaid 5G Starter Pack via the CelcomDigi Online Store and activate your SIM card upon receiving it; or visit your nearest CelcomDigi Store to activate a CelcomDigi Prepaid 5G plan.

c. After reloading your CelcomDigi Prepaid 5G pass, go to the ‘Notifications bell icon’ on the CelcomDigi app and click the 'Redeem' button to retrieve your unique voting link. The link will be issued within 30 minutes.  

d. Upon clicking the 'Redeem' button, you will be re-directed to ’Borneo Rising' WhatsApp channel to cast your votes.

2. When can I cast my votes? 

The ‘Voting Period’ is open weekly throughout the Borneo Rising season (6 September – 25 October 2026). Each week’s voting opens every Monday, 12:00AM, and closes the following Sunday, 10:30PM.

3. I’m a CelcomDigi subscriber but not a CelcomDigi Prepaid subscriber. Am I still eligible to receive a unique code to cast more votes?

To earn additional votes, you will need to purchase a CelcomDigi Prepaid pass and reload your Prepaid pass via the new CelcomDigi app.

4. Can I reload my Prepaid pass via Shopee or Lazada to receive a unique link to cast more votes?

No, you will not receive a unique link if the reloads were done via the Shopee or Lazada app. To receive your unique link, you must reload your CelcomDigi Prepaid pass via the CelcomDigi app.

5. How do I reload my Prepaid pass on the new CelcomDigi app?

6. Will my Prepaid validity period be affected upon utilising my votes?

There will not be any changes to your Prepaid plan / reload credits.

7. Can I carry forward my unused votes?

No, your eligible votes can only be used during the ‘Voting Period’ (voting opens every Monday, 12:00AM, and closes the following Sunday, 10:30PM). Any unused votes will expire after the following Sunday, 10:30PM, and will not be carried forward.

8. Can I vote for more than one artist?

Yes, you can cast your votes for more than one artist on the ’Borneo Rising’ WhatsApp channel

9. If I did not receive my unique voting link, who can I contact for help?

10. Can I get a refund if I choose not to use my votes after reloading my Prepaid credit?

No. Prepaid reloads are non-refundable once the transaction is completed, regardless of whether the votes received are used.
