1. Who is eligible for this Roaming (via Partners) offer? 

All Celcom and Digi prepaid subscribers are eligible to purchase this offer.

 

2. Where can I buy this Roaming (via Partners) offer

This roaming pass is available on the Boost application. Please ensure that:

  • You purchase using your CelcomDigi prepaid mobile number.
  • You have sufficient e-wallet credit balance.
  • You download the CelcomDigi app to monitor your usage.

Note:

  • Single country: This roam pass can only be used in one selected country. If you travel to another country, you will need to purchase a new pass or choose a multi-country pass.
  • Multi-country: You can use the same roam pass in multiple countries within the active validity period.
  • Voice calls: Applicable for incoming and outgoing calls to Malaysia and the country you are in.
  • Validity: All roam passes start from the time of purchase (based on hours). For example, if you purchase a 3-day pass on 1 April 2026 at 11:00 a.m., it will end on 4 April 2026 at 10:59 a.m.
     

4. How do I know if my purchase is successful?

You will receive an SMS notification sent to your mobile number. Alternatively, you can verify the status of your roaming pass via the CelcomDigi app under Usage.

5. Can I purchase more than one Roaming (via Partners) offer?

No. Only one purchase is allowed at a time. Once your current pass expires, you may purchase a new one.

 

6. Does Roaming (via Partners) offer include SMS?

Incoming SMS is free, while outgoing SMS will be charged based on Pay-As-You-Use rates.

 

7. Do I have to manually select my preferred operator abroad?

No, operator selection is automatic. Please ensure that your Network Setting is set to ‘Auto’ for seamless connectivity.
 

However, you can manually select network operator if you encounter issues where your mobile device is unable to detect the network. Please refer here for more information on how to manually select a network operator.

Important: Please note that manually selecting a network is not recommended for customers traveling across multiple countries, as it will prevent the device from automatically connecting to the preferred network upon arrival in the next country due to the manual selection setting. If this occurs, kindly revert the Network Setting to ‘Auto’.


8. How do I activate Roaming (via Partners) offer upon purchase?

The pass will be auto-activated upon arrival in your destination county. Please ensure that Data Roaming is turned on in your phone settings under Mobile Network. Refer here on how to turn on/off Data Roaming.

 

9. Can I 'pre-book' my Roaming (via Partners) pass?

No. You cannot pre-book a pinless roam pass. However, you can purchase it up to 2 months in advance while in Malaysia. 

Note: The pass is valid for travel within 2 months from the purchase date. If it is not activated within this period, it will expire and cannot be used.

 

10. Will I get notified once my Roaming (via Partners) pass has expired?

Yes. You will get a notification upon offer expiry. The pass validity is as follows:

11. Does the Roaming (via Partners) pass auto-renew?

No. 

 

12. What happens when I fully utilize the quota?

Your internet access will be blocked to prevent Pay-As-You-Use charges. You may purchase another roam pass.
