How to Check Your Internet/Data Quota — Quick Guide
On your phone:
If you use an Android device
- Open Settings > Tap Connections.
- Tap Data Usage > then Mobile Data Usage.
- At the top of the screen, you’ll see your data usage for the current billing month.
- Tap on the Date to view your usage in previous billing periods (in case you want a history).
- Scroll down to see how much data each app has used. You can also control for each app’s usage by:
- Mobile data only
- Wi‑Fi only (This helps you manage data-heavy apps.)
- Or both.
- Go back to Data Usage and tap Billing Cycle, here you can set or check the date when your monthly data quota resets (matching your plan’s billing cycle).
If you use an iPhone (iOS)
- Go to Settings > Cellular (or Mobile Data).
If you're on an iPad, you may see Settings > Cellular Data instead. - Scroll down to see total cellular data usage. The list below shows how much data each app has consumed.
- If you prefer, you can turn off mobile data for individual apps, and they’ll only use WiFi.
Through the CelcomDigi App or USSD:
You can quickly check your mobile data quota, add-ons, or Internet Pass balances using the CelcomDigi App or via USSD. Here’s how to check usage and balances for those:
- Use the CelcomDigi App to monitor your overall internet quota, data passes, and usage.
- Alternatively, you can check your quota or Internet Pass balance by dialing *118# and selecting ‘Purchase Add-Ons’.
- For roaming subscribers, dial *800# to check your Roaming Pass validity, data quota, and minutes balance.
This method is especially handy if you want detailed information about how much of your plan’s quota remains and not just what your phone has used.
When to Use the CelcomDigi App or Phone to Check Your Quota:
Scenario | Best Method |
You want to check how much data you have left under your mobile plan / Internet Pass (especially if you are on prepaid or using addons) | Use the CelcomDigi App or check via USSD (if available). |
You want to know how much data your phone has used this month, overall and by app | Use the phone’s Settings > Data Usage / Cellular. |
