How to activate my new SIM?

Activating New Number

• CelcomDigi Postpaid:

Just insert your new SIM – it will activate automatically for immediate use.

• CelcomDigi Prepaid:

Step 1: Download the CelcomDigi app

Step 2: Open the app and select 'Prepaid SIM Activation' under 'Quick Links'

Step 3: Alternatively, if you already have another active phone number logged in on your CelcomDigi app, you may find this menu by selecting 'View All' under 'Your Essentials'. Then, under 'Account', select 'Activate New SIM'

Step 4: Follow the instructions to verify your ID and scan the barcode on the SIM pack. Insert your SIM card, and an SMS confirmation will be sent upon successful SIM card activation.

Note: For customers performing a new SIM registration at an authorized dealer outlet, the above steps will be assisted and completed by the dealers.

Switching to CelcomDigi (Port-In)

• CelcomDigi Postpaid and Prepaid:

• Look out for a port-out confirmation SMS from your current service provider and follow the instructions to reply.
• Insert your new SIM after you have lost connection to your current service provider.
