Why are certain websites unable to load while using CelcomDigi Fibre?

If you're having trouble loading certain websites while using CelcomDigi Fibre, it could be due to a variety of reasons. Below are some common causes and steps to resolve them:

Your line might be barred or suspended.

Check the status of your line using the Celcom Life or MyDigi app. If your line is barred or suspended, pay outstanding amounts via these available payment methods.

Browser cache

Accumulated cache in your browser can sometimes prevent websites from loading correctly.

Clear your browser cache and cookies. This can usually be done from the settings menu of your browser.

Network configuration

Incorrect network settings or issues with your modem/ router can affect website loading.

Restart your modem and router. Check the indicator lights on your devices; if any lights are red, there might be a connection issue.

System date and time

Incorrect system date and time settings can cause security certificates to be invalid, preventing websites from loading.

Make sure your system date and time are set correctly.

Service disruptions

There might be planned maintenance or unexpected service issues in your area.

Check the network status in your area through the Celcom Life, MyDigi app or CelcomDigi website.

Blocked websites

Certain websites might be blocked by the government or, using a VPN can sometimes make some websites inaccessible.

Look up official government resources to understand which certain website blocked and try to turn off the VPN.
