1. What is Tonton’s subscription plan available to Pay via CelcomDigi? 

There are three subscription plans for Tonton with TontonUp. However, only the 1-Month Plan is available to Pay via CelcomDigi. By choosing to "Pay via CelcomDigi," you can enjoy this plan at a discounted rate of RM9 per month. This plan allows you to enjoy dramas, movies, documentaries, sitcoms, anime, religious content and more in Malay, English, Chinese and Korean languages. 

2. What content is available on Tonton service? 

With Tonton free subscription, enjoy access to free-to-air channels such as TV3, Ntv7, 8TV, Livestream events and News along with hundreds of free shows on demand. 

With TontonUp, enjoy ad-free access to K-dramas on TVN and TVN Movies, Anime, premium shows on demand and more.   

3. How to Watch Tonton? 

i. On Mobile – Android and iOS Devices: 

• Download the App: Download from Google Play Store or App Store.  
• Install the App: Download and install the app on your mobile device.  
• Sign In or Register: Open the app and sign in with your Tonton account credentials. If you don’t have an account, you can register for a new one.  
• Start Watching: Browse through the available content and start streaming your favorite shows and movies. 

ii. On Desktop: 

• Visit the Website: Open your web browser and go to the official Tonton website at www.tonton.com/celcomdigi. 
• Sign In or Register: Click on the sign-in button and enter your Tonton account details. If you are a new user, you can register for an account on the website. 
• Browse and Watch: Navigate through the content library and click on a title to start watching directly from your browser.

iii. On Smart TV:  

• Check Compatibility: Ensure that your Smart TV is compatible with the Tonton app. Most modern Smart TVs should support it. 
• Download the App: Go to your TV’s app store (such as the Google Play Store for Android TV or the respective app store for your TV’s brand) and search for the "Tonton" app. 
• Install the App: Download and install the Tonton app on your Smart TV. 

iv. If you want more content, subscribe to TontonUp. 

• Sign In or Register: Open the app and log in with your Tonton account details. If you do not have an account, you can register directly through the app or on the Tonton website. 
• Enjoy Streaming: Browse the available content and start streaming directly on your TV. 

4. Can I subscribe to TontonUp via Tonton App? 

Currently, the Tonton app does not offer a direct subscription option for TontonUp. If you wish to subscribe, you will be redirected to a specific landing page. Here’s how you can subscribe to TontonUp:  

Step 1: Download the Tonton app on the App Store or Google Play Store  Step 2: Open the app. For existing users, click ‘Sign-In’ and log in via your registered email or mobile number. For new users, click ‘Sign-In’ and then ‘Sign-Up’ to register via your email or mobile number.  Step 3: You will receive a TAC number. Key in the TAC number to proceed.   Step 4: Click on the CelcomDigi poster or visit www.tonton.com/celcomdigi and click ‘Beli Sekarang’ on the webpage.   Step 5: Select the 1-month plan and choose ‘CelcomDigi’ as the payment method. You will see the monthly subscription change to RM9 per month at the bottom-left of the screen. Click ‘Join Subscription’.

Step 6: You will be directed to the payment page where you will need to select ‘Get OTP’, key in the OTP and click ‘Confirm’.  Figure 1: OTP Page Figure 2: OTP sent via SMS

Step 7: You will be reverted to a Payment Success page and receive an SMS on your new subscription.

5. How can I cancel my subscription?   

Step 1: Login to your TontonUp account via Web @ www.tonton.com/celcomdigi.  

Step 2: Click on the gear on the top right corner of the page and select Manage Account.
Step 3: Click on Subscription Plan and click on cancel auto-recurrence.

6. Can I switch between subscription plans? 

Yes, you can switch between a Tonton free subscription and TontonUp at any time. If you have subscribed to the quarterly or annual plan, there will not be any refund provided. 

Do note that Pay Via CelcomDigi is not available for other plans.
