Notice: Scheduled Digi System Upgrade on 14 - 15 October 2024

This is an important notice for Digi customers.

 

Please be advised that there will be a scheduled Digi system upgrade from 9:00 p.m. on 14-Oct-2024 to 9:00 a.m. on 15-Oct-2024.

 

Voice calls, texts and Internet services will not be affected and will remain active. However, some channels and services will be temporarily unavailable, we recommend planning your activities ahead to ensure a smooth experience.

 

Channels unavailable during the scheduled system upgrade:

  • MyDigi App 
  • MyDigi Website 
  • Digi Online Store 
  • Digi Kiosk 
  • CelcomDigi Store/ Celcom bluecube/ Digi Store
  • MyDigi Business Portal
  • UMB


Services unavailable during the scheduled system upgrade:

 

1. Registration Services 

  • New registration (include add new family lines) 
  • Change of plans

 

2. Charging Services 

  • Purchase of value-added services (including via UMB) 
  • Purchase from Apple App Store/ Google Play Store/ Huawei AppGallery via Digipay 
  • Subscribe and activate roaming pass
  • Add-on purchases/ device contracts/ service contracts

 

3. Billing and Payment Services

All postpaid, fibre and 5G Home WiFi bill payments via the following channels

All prepaid reloads via the following channels

  • MyDigi App
  • MyDigi Business Portal
  • CelcomDigi Website
  • CelcomDigi Kiosk 
  • CelcomDigi Store/ Celcom bluecube/ Digi Store
  • Online Banking:

4. Account Management Services 

  • Termination  
  • Line suspension due to lost and stolen 
  • Change of SIM card/ MSISDN 
  • Check quota/ balances 
  • TalkTime Services
  • Family group management

 

5. Roaming Services 

The purchase and activation of roaming passes via MyDigi app, UMB and MyDigi Business Portal will also be temporarily unavailable during this time.  

  • Pre-purchase and purchase on arrival
    • Customers are advised to pre-purchase roaming passes in advance for activation before 14-Oct-2024. 
    • For planned travel on 14-Oct-2024 and 15-Oct-2024, customers can only purchase the roaming passes on that day via MyDigi app or by dialing *800#.
      • Before 6 p.m. on 14-Oct-2024, or  
      • After 9 a.m. on 15-Oct-2024

 

6. Port-in or port-out (MNP) Services 

  • This service will be unavailable from 12:01 a.m. on 13-Oct-2024 to 11:59 p.m. on 15-Oct-2024. This applies to all Celcom and Digi customers as all port-in, port-out and resubmission of requests will be unavailable until services resume on 16-Oct-2024. 
  • For Enterprise customers, the porting service will be unavailable from 4:00 p.m. on 10-Oct-2024 to 11:59 p.m. on 15-Oct-2024.

 

7. Fibre and 5G Home WiFi services during the scheduled system upgrade

To ensure continuous service during this time, please DO NOT restart or reset your router from 9:00 p.m. on 14-Oct-2024 to 11:59 p.m. on 16-Oct-2024.


8. OTP/ TAC Request

Request of the OTP (One-Time Password) and TAC (Transaction Authorization Code) will be temporarily unavailable during this period. Please complete any necessary transactions in advance.



Please remember to make your payments, reloads and complete any urgent service transactions before 13-Oct-2024 to ensure a smooth experience during the scheduled system upgrade.  

 

We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and patience in this matter.


Note: Celcom services remain available as usual.
