FAQ: Pakej MegaJimat

1. What is Pakej MegaJimat?

Pakej MegaJimat is a mobile offering program that provides customer with a wide range of devices for FREE or at a lower price from the RRP with either 12 or 24-month contract on the CelcomDigi Postpaid 5G 80 plan. 

 

2. Do I need to pay upfront payment upon signing up to Pakej MegaJimat?

Yes. Device upfront payment may be applicable subjected to customer eligibility. Applicable Device upfront payment shall be refunded over a period of 10 months over contract tenure.

 

3. I would like to terminate my Pakej MegaJimat, what should I do?

Please visit the nearest Celcom Bluecube or Digi Store, and we will assist you accordingly.

Please note that penalty fees will be applied for early termination of your contract.

 

4. How many devices can I sign up with Pakej MegaJimat?

Each customer with a valid original NRIC is eligible to sign up for up to maximum two (2) registrations with Pakej MegaJimat according to the principal plan eligibility. 

 

5. I am a foreigner, can I sign up for Pakej MegaJimat?

No, Pakej MegaJimat is only available for Malaysian citizens. 

 

6. Where can I sign up for Pakej MegaJimat?

For Digi customer, you can visit the nearest Digi Store, Digi Store Express or Digi Dealers to sign up for Pakej MegaJimat. 

For Celcom customer, you may walk-in to the nearest Celcom Bluecube or Celcom Certified Partner or Celcom Dealers nationwide. 

  

7. I am currently on a Xpax Postpaid Device Bundle / Digi Pakej PowerJimat contract; can I change my plan to the new CelcomDigi 5G plan? 

If you are moving from a plan with lower monthly commitment to a plan with a higher monthly commitment, your contract will be carried forward and no penalty will be charged.

 

However, if you are moving from a plan with a higher monthly commitment fee to a lower commitment fee, you will incur the early termination charge as stated in your contract.

 

Example:

  1. If you are on a device contract on Pakej PowerJimat 60 or Xpax Postpaid 60 and you change your plan to CelcomDigi Postpaid 5G 80 plan, you will continue your contract on the new plan. However, you will not be able to enjoy the RM10 rebate.
  2. If you are on a device contract on Digi Postpaid 120 or Celcom MEGA 128 and you change your plan to CelcomDigi Postpaid 5G 80 plan, you will incur the early termination charges in your contract. 

 

8. I am currently on a Celcom MEGA EasyPhone / Digi PhoneFreedom 365 contract. Can I change my contract to the new Pakej MegaJimat once I have changed my plan to CelcomDigi Postpaid 5G 120?

Unfortunately, you are required to terminate your current contract before subscribing to the new Pakej MegaJimat device contract.

Please note that you will incur the early termination charge specified in your contract.

 

9. In what circumstance will CelcomDigi block my device/IMEI?

CelcomDigi reserves the right to block the device in the circumstances below:

  1. Device reported as lost and stolen  
  2. Suspected of fraud or found to have committed fraud 
  3. Overdue payments  

 

10. What if I decide to port out from Celcom or Digi while still on a contract?
To port out, you will need to visit the nearest Celcom Bluecube or Digi Store to terminate your contract. Cancellation Fees will be incurred and charged accordingly. Once paid, you may proceed with the port-out.
